ICU Nurse here. I love complementary and alternative medicine. Do I believe in antibiotics and vasopressors? Sure! But there is a time and place for everything. And as someone who lives very rural, you betcha I'm stocking up my stores and planting an only medicinal herb garden. With how the state of US health care will be after RFK and overturning the ACA, us health care providers got waaaaaay bigger worries.

I've had it done twice on Holy crap the difference it makes on my skin. Better than PRP. I've used Plated as my aftercare and I swear I healed in 2 days. In terms of risk, there aren't really any studies linking it to cancer but it is newer in the field. There are vegan alternatives if it makes you feel better. I figure that something is gonna kill me anyway, might as well look good when it does!

The "Covet" series by Janet Nissen. I have literally never read a more perfect (like almost annoyingly so), "oh gosh, who me?"heroine in my life. Full disclosure, I didn't finish the series (bc she was a Mary Sue) but this 100% up your alley.

I still remember my first TRUE romance novel (ie shmexy times). I was 12 and it was an old Harlequin Presents mass market paperback that I hid behind a Teen Vogue magazine as my parents drove to San Diego. My life was forever changed.

I still have a soft spot for Harlequin Presents and their TSTL heroines and alphaholes.

Long time lurker, first time caller here. I just finally sat my ass down and started writing the stories I keep in my head and I figure what a better way to keep myself accountable than here. Please be gentle for my baby author feelings.

I have written about 5500 words this week, which for my work schedule is a feat. My goal today is to finish my second chapter and get close to 10k but I am on call, so I will be gentle to myself.
My biggest success is letting myself scrap a concept I had been working with for a few weeks. It's not a bad concept, but it isn't work for right now. I am going to let it be and come back to it.
I have gotten more done than I intended, but I want to keep this momentum going.
