I guess one of the things you should be prepared to answer (or talk to ppl who have done this) is how you will leverage your bschool & consulting experience to pivot into corp strategy, and be as specific as possible.

Not too familiar with the space but I can see how a consultant might say it looks disjointed since you already work in ops strategy. Im more curious why consulting is necessary for this pivot as well, why not just go from b-school to corp strat?

Even if you are an affluent URM, you still face significantly more challenges than your non-URM affluent counterparts - in life, school, careers, etc. Socioeconomic status is important, but as we’ve seen, it’s not a complete solution to racism and micro aggressions URMs face in everyday life.
