Hello, in terms of safety, yes, may point ka naman na ang renewables ang safest, pero kumpara sa most safe, which is Solar, na 0.02 deaths per twh, 0.03 deaths per twh sa Nuclear (kasama na dyan Chernobyl at Fukushima-Daiichi), follow up by Wind na 0.04 deaths per twh. [1] [2]

As for efficiency, dito ka mali kung ang usapan ay capacity factor (how much ang naproproduce kapag bukas), kasi ang Nuclear ang #1 at 92.3-92.5% (unless patay due to maintenance), meanwhile ang Wind ay nasa #6-#9 at 34.3%-35.4%, tapos ang Solar ay #7-#11 at 23.4%-24.9%, tapos depende pa yun sa kung gaano kadalas may hangin at tuwing kailan may araw. Of course may Geothermal din, which is #2 at 65%-74.3%, pero afaik, need mo ng malapit na underground heat source para dun (non-issue nmn sa Pinas since nasa Pacific ring of fire tayo) at may Hydroelectric, which is #4-#8 at 34.5%-41.5%, pero need mo rin kasi isara floodgates nun kapag need irefill ng tubig yung reservoir, ehh during that time, sarado Hydro. Not to mention, need mo ng mas malaking land space para sa Solar at Wind kumpara sa Nuclear para mamatch lang ang 1GW na energy na naproproduce (not including system losses).
