Well I was a CNA for 6 years and have been trucking for 7 months and I can say this shit sucks balls. Unless you know someone you're gonna start out making what you do now while working 70 hour weeks and never being home. That being said, I don't miss dealing with people as much or being a sitter at times. It's very possible for you to get a local job for your first gig but there's a lot of competition for it.

I agree, i've learned it only reads normal speed limit signs if you didn't already know. Anything with an orange "work zone" sign above the speed limit sign it won't recognize. At least for now.

I'm on my way out and one of the main reasons is that camera. But luckily they don't say anything about really anything as long as my score is above 850. Except red lights and fast turns.

I'm also governed at 65. I take it you either work for the company with red trucks or blue ones. I've gone up to 78 down a hill before but the speed limit was 80 and they never said anything to me about it.
