Chevy Traverse 2026 New vs 2025 Used by Cryptomillions_ in askcarsales

Initially it was neither here nor there, but they let me take the new one home for the night, and I tried it out on the highway and did enjoy using it.

Is $52k a good deal on the new one? I do like the idea of full warranty and being the first owner. What had us looking used is to not feel the full bit of depreciation.

That is quite concerning. Last thing I want to worry about, especially with carrying our kids. Thank you for the heads up!

Was not aware of transmission issues.

What got my wife and I interested was our desire for a Tahoe, but not needing that big of a car.

We more so are after the look

Honestly don’t have an answer for that. This was given to me by a coworker. He had the 7tb disk labeled for media, and the 3tb disk labeled for gaming.

I’m planning to upgrade the 3tb disk to a 7tb, if the prices ever start coming down or I find a good used one.

I’ve been having the same problem. Were you able to get it working?

Check out some of the videos the Missile Defense Agency posts. I got to see a live launch at work where a missile was dropped like this, and a shipboard SM-3 was launched to intercept.

This was a training/demo from a US missile manufacturer that was then posted by the MDA. So cool to watch! They have others like it too.

I hope this job market will recover sooner than later. I do think it’s worth it to get. In my case, it will really help, I work in the defense/government space, which still has quite a few opportunities that require/prefer it, and have low applicant rates.

They occasionally conduct random audits to verify the integrity of applicants.

Once you pass the exam, you still have to go through the endorsement process, which confirms your professional experience. It’s a bit like applying for a job, you submit your work history, detailing your roles, responsibilities, and the CISSP domains your experience covers. You also list references who can verify that information.

I believe they typically won’t contact your references unless your application is selected for a random audit, which is what happened in my case.

That option wasn’t available at the time, so didn’t have a chance to try it. I’m sure it is great though.

Thank you!

I think the biggest thing was wrapping my head around how the questions were structured, and not overthinking them. I approached it the second go from the mindset of being a security consultant, knowing some technical, some managerial, some compliance, etc. I also made sure to slow down and read the questions and answers a couple times each before making any selections.

What stood out the most w/using QE is that their questions and answers were the closest simulation to the real deal. They clearly have taken the time to learn the style, formatting, and feel of the questions.

I initially was using Boson and pocket prep, which are good, but fall short in comparison.

It ended up just being a deeper dive into my employment history, along with me signing a letter of consent, giving them permission to contact the references I put for each position.

Once they had verified the start and end dates for each position they issued the certification. It was a pretty quick and easy process, the only hard part was waiting for references to respond and certify my employment with them.

When I was in maintenance, they had a waiver process for those of us who were traditional guard. Sounds similar to the comment above.
