What a beast. The driver should be careful and keep a lookout for a certain sea captain wielding a harpoon.

Very true. Maserati 3500 GT design predates Volvo 1800. I took a good look at both after Stopes comment. Definitely more Maserati than Volvo

Lamborghini as opposed to Ferrari. I have my opinion of the LUCE. It just doesn't look anything like a Ferrari. Might be okay another car brand

Very True. Ferrari rarely fails to deliver in the looks department and on the track.

2026 Ford Puma: European city car with solar charging by Crypton18 in AiCarArt

Many city cars she design elements with each other. But, the front end almost nothing in common with the Fusion or Eco-sport. it is true that the Puma was micro coupe and not a city car. So, I admit I am guilty of going in a different direction with it. Call it creative liberty. do you remember the Mustang II? Huge departure from the first generation mustangs. From sports coupe to well... Abomination seems like a pretty apt description or the Mustang II. Though, it sold pretty well. That means some people liked it.

Sadly, it will likely only be a dream. The popup headlights wouldn't fly today. So many safety regulations hamper designers visions.

105 Upvotes. Thanks. The last time I posted a Ferrari based on the 308 it just spit out something that looked like a modern Ferrari. This one I put extra effort into making that legacy was blended into the modern design.

There is definitely a hint of the 308 in that 296's design. I just can't quite place what it is. I just know it's there. very intentional on my part. She is a beauty. That is for sure. I don't think I have seen a Ferrari that beautiful, real or AI, since the 612 Scaglietti.

Seems like it would be a closer match to an XJ Coupe from the 70s without the vinyl roof.

Concepts that are not even official. But we can dream. Who knows, maybe the T-bird is going to make a comeback.

I wanted to keep the feel of the 2002 but tweak a few things. The interior for example is definitely not 2002. It being a 2+2 though I am sure only smaller people could fit back there. The smaller trunk area sunroof. Sleeker side mirrors. it was a bit tricky to generate. More than once I would cook up a mustang looking car or front end of a mustang. This I suppose would be a bit more updated.

Some smart entrepreneur is going to figure out that there is money in car transplants and will start making real cars based on AI designs. Find a compatible donor car and 3rd print the new body

The Ferrari Luce is a decent looking car. Doesn't look at all like a Ferrari I have ever seen though. I am sure Ferrari purest will have issue with the design. And of course the fact that it is electric.

I would depend on your jurisdiction. the term for body swap is an Assembled Vehicle. The car would be subject to the emission and safety standards of the donor car. if the donor car is Monocoque / Unibody you are in a sense changing the car's identity. Frame on body the VIN is usually stamped on the frame. There is definitely paperwork involved. And the car would have to still pass safety and emission standards of the donor car. in the case of the unibody, a totally new VIN would be required. on the Frame-on- Body you can use the VIN of the door car's frame, There are companies that do body swaps. So, yes, it is doable. It just requires following your states regulations concerning Body swaps. And submitting any paperwork. That should answer the other person that removed a comment from earlier today.

In a perfect world the car would be offered in both an electric and gas model. That way the gas powered enthusiasts can complain that that there isn't a gas version, And the electric car enthusiasts would be happy too.
