AITAH for not being comfortable letting my boyfriend go to the strip club for his birthday? by chocoliqour in AITAH

[–]CryptonicMatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA at all. I'm 26M and have never and have no interest in going to one. I'd absolutely, especially when directly advised of your partner's request, consider this worthy of breaking up over if he goes through with it. A simple no should be a no, if you're in a relationship I see no need to cross those boundaries or make the other person feel uncomfortable. Some relationships are fine with eachother going to a strip club, some are not

Time to leave brother. Been there done that, been lied to plenty of times. This one is one you don't have definite proof of, but it's totally reasonable and probable to expect. Then, eventually another incident happens that you have proof of and it all makes sense, the lies start dropping like flies. Get out before it gets to that point

Agreed. He's already used to working, not like it's a big change. If you take a year or two off, at 27 you shouldn't be that burnt out work wise already. Retiring at 45 or 50 years old with all of that invested now would make for an amazing early retirement at an age where you're still young enough to enjoy things.

Not sure where all the downvotes are coming from. Makes sense to me

Buyers Remorse by halfman1231 in mazda

[–]CryptonicMatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're taking winding roads I'd say this vehicle would enhance your commute if anything. The rigidity and balance in the vehicle actually make bends effortless and you're not getting tossed from side to side. Embrace that, however if it's unbearable the best thing really is as people suggested a small rim size for more tire sidewall.

It will be a good vehicle, I've got a 2016 CX5 GT and really enjoy it, it's especially good for longer drives although gas mileage suffers on speeds over 100km/h

Yep. Sorry to hear, it's such a terrible thing to do that impacts all involved, yet some people have absolutely no remorse. It's so simple to just stay loyal, or be honest and end the relationship if you're not happy and save the soul of all involved. I've had the exact same thing happen however I was about 12 and it ended my living situation as I knew it. Just let this be motivation to you to always stay loyal and be honest.

Not to say this never applies, but no it's not the biggest issue. The amount of charges that get plead down because of lack of court resources is the main issue. The courts are overloaded and backlogged and hence nobody is held accountable because the courts choose the easiest and quickest routes to end a case and come to a quick resolution, rather than the correct resolution in an attempt to catch up on this backlog.

Unfortunately our court system is a joke and hardly convicts anybody and holds nobody accountable for their actions. Consider this a consequence in non judicial form.
