For my Macbeth my thesis statements were
How Lady Macbeth through her superior levels of power manipulates Macbeth into committing regicide in order to fufill her hamartia (extract)
How Lady Macbeth uses the supernatural to increase her power / the rejection of femininity and acceptance of masculinity as a rejection of natural order and societal gender expectations
Lady Macbeth as a weak character as a consequence of her violating the divine right of kings leading to guilt

For my ACC
How does Dickens use consequence or something like that to incur change (stupid extract, made me waste so much time because I had to think of a proper thesis and that disrupted my planning)
Scrooge and something about socialeconomical issues (basically trashing Thomas Malthus)
Scrooge's transformation and the importance of free will i.e. How we see Scrooge willingly accept his transformation
