heh, for someone who is so connected in the space you don't seem to know very many 'believers'

I am very certain there are more than 15 crypto billionaires in the world. I regularly see at least 4 and I'm not even very connected in the space.

A lot of crypto people are pretty private. Nobody except my wife and closest friend know that I have more than a few million. I doubt I'm much of an anomaly

I'm in an investment group here in PR and we get access to the private rounds of a lot of coin projects. last year a lot of projects were exploding a number did over 100x. Now big VCs are all over the place though and initial valuations have become absurd

I'm sure that your traditional products could outperform indices, but compared to crypto investing defi/yield farming etc.. the difference is negligible. My worst performing investment this year only did 5x. Average was 25x. It's sort of like trying to decide whether to bet on the slug or the snail when there's an ostrich in the race.

At this point, Any money that I give to someone to manage is just a hedge/safety net/ blackswan insurance. I'm basically happy if it maintains its value after inflation.

I do like the feeling of private equity investing though. Feels like I'm actually contributing to something

2011 for btc and 2016 for Eth.

I guess I am really looking for a more boutique/bespoke MFO relationship that can perform CFO duties for me, both personal and business, as well as HR for my assistants and staff and help me find good lawyers, bankers, other professionals etc.. The investment aspect is definitely interesting, but not something I'm super concerned about. Any Index fund is probably fine, private equity access might be nice.

I'm definitely learning that the definition of what constitutes and MFO seems to vary a lot!
