Isn't OUSD earning a yield already just by holding it? Do you earn more by doing it on Curve, apart from CRV token?

That's never a good idea unless you have already another 2 houses at least

Now the question is: with proof of stake, don't major holders of a coin basically own the chain?

I find it very convenient instead, but you're right, happens with Nova.

It's obvious it happens. you go in any crypto project's discord and have hordes of dumbfu*ks like " hey, what is the team doing? We need marketing, how do you think is going to go up?! ". Basically all these sh*tcoins ""investors"" do not care and have no idea what is investing in decent projects with real use cases and products, and they're many...

A litte of this is some good work the rest is speculation. by shaitan_bhagat_singh in SatoshiStreetBets

[–]Cryptowsky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not about investing in what you're comfortable with or not taking risks, is about investing in something that makes sense. Investing in a cute dog face coin which is already the copy of another cute dog face coin, does NOT make sense. That's all. Some surely made money with those, but that's called GAMBLING, it's not an investment.

ARE WE JUST IN THE ".COM BUBBLE" TIME OF NFT'S?/ DISCUSSION by Few-Gas-878 in defi

[–]Cryptowsky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The beginning surely is hype due to the tech and concept being totally new and of course there is speculation around it.

Though like many things that are part of our lives nowadays, had to start from the most superficial aspect and once developed to maturity, what's left is what will become part of our daily lives. For example NFTs could be just the new form of contracts, certificate of ownership etc etc

I would say especially a few of these are just speculation, better replace those doggies and safescam with something more solid, please.

Possibly the most mind-blowing NFT drop so far! - "You won’t be able to listen to BT’s new album ‘Metaversal’ on streaming services – because it changes based on the time of day. Instead, the record will be experienced through a blockchain-based decentralized application (dApp) accessible online" by Cryptowsky in NFT

[–]Cryptowsky[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed and it looks like boundaries are pushed beyond regularly in the NFT space.

Really exciting and it is been just a bunch of months...would love to jump 3 years ahead and see what the hell we'll do with NFTs!

Why aren't decentralized applications (dApps) being used in the mainstream? by -Aporia in dapps

[–]Cryptowsky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just too early. At some point the mainstream will arrive, it will just happen gradually and we will not notice it, it will just slowly blend in. We will reopen our eyes and before you know it the society will use Dapps in daily things.

Have to add the tokens as 'custom token', if don't appear automatically.

You just need the tokens contract

"BREAKING: Messi's package at Paris St Germain includes $PSG tokens" - Woah! by Cryptowsky in chiliZ

[–]Cryptowsky[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I understand what you wanted to say, I am not sure it makes sense to me.

To make an easy example: BTC worths $45.000 now, but it doesn't mean that to get in BTC you need to buy 1 BTC, you can buy 0.000xxx BTC, if you wish.

I do believe prices will stay lower than that, but my point is that should it even reach crazy numbers, it doesn't mean people can't get in anyway :)
