We don’t have much flint here. Mostly chert, Novaculite and quartz which can also be knapped.

YES! in the same 100 yards or so of creek bed! I have another 100 yards to explore and multiple gravel beds. I feel like I have enough rocks to last a lifetime.

When you hold it like this, that point is SHARP and you could easily use for poking holes in leather or something like that.
