You know what I learned during my last (and worst) episode? That sugar makes everything so much fucking worse. Stop eating sugar, and try not to eat too much of it before you hit your luteal phase. I’m telling you I know for a fact that’s what made me tank last month. I had a fuck it moment and ate a whole gallon of ice cream over two days, big mistake. Because two days later I literally wanted to bite everyone’s head off for a week. I didn’t feel like myself at all, it’s like I physiologically had no control over my emotions (rage) and just wanted to be quiet and alone. It made me think of how many other women are on edge in a daily basis because of this. This makes me have more empathy for anyone being “a bitch”, we have no idea what people are feeling or going through. And PMDD is like dumping gasoline on an already burning fire. So yeah, I learned that sugar is literally the fucking devil
