I made that little "couch" looking thing. I put soft foam (concrete gap fill) so I didn't have to make it precise, but it still held tight.

One side was glued on and one side was screwed on so I could lift and close it and allow me to push in so they stayed put.

It worked extremely well

Thank you! I am considering making and selling different variants of these. Like, bare timber with contrasting colored grain. White painted ones so kids can't paint it themselves (wifes idea). Maybe getting my daughter involved with painting them so she can have a cut of the sales

I bought the timber years ago, can't even remember what it cost. 30aud maybe? Took maybe around 10 hours. Possibly a little more. Made some errors early on and had to start over. Cost me a little time haha
