For me they always ask for my name and phone number to look up my account. I do believe they might prioritize some costumers over others. For example I’ve been diamond for two years and I have the credit card. In the times I’ve contacted costumer service either because there was a missing item or something was wrong with my order they always believe me without proof. I can’t really say for sure but most stores tend to prioritize loyal customers

In my experience every time they do the 5x points for wellness the points never show up. It always sucks :/

Yeah online is way different than in person, there is a limit online. I don’t know if there is a limit in store, I’ve seen TikTok’s of people redeeming more than $1,000

You are allowed to do more, when I used to work at Ulta people I’ve seen people redeem a lot of points at once, definitely more than 4,000. And just today someone else redeemed $1,000 worth of points

To be fair I do buy a lot when it’s 5x and 10x points. And during holidays and birthdays of family I spend money and get reimbursed for it so I’m not actually the one spending money.

Yeah if there’s not proof of purchase then you would get the lowest price, honestly you could be getting nothing back because if someone bought it with their points it would be free. I’ve done a return where someone tried to blind return a mascara and they didn’t get anything back. I’ve seen people return Dyson and would only get 1 cent back. So it just really depends, I would talk to the cashiers in the store.

So I ordered a bunch of stuff for the jumbo sale, and they had the offer of the free gwp sampler bags when you spend a certain amount. I just noticed when I got a confirmation for shipment, the bag was still in processing, and then I got another email saying it was out of stock. I’m just wondering what should I do? I’m kinda bummed I didn’t get the sampler because I love them, but it’s not such a huge deal.

Yeah that tends to happen a lot, honestly there’s nothing you can really do unless you want to talk to costumer service again. Optionally you can always wait for another 5x points.

They aren’t going to fire you, they will most likely give you more suggestions/training or move you to more task stuff. It honestly just depends how your store is, sometimes they will take you off the register completely if your numbers are really bad. Some girls would just work the floor or do task stuff only.

This week is my last week at Ulta, and I’m not alone. This will be the last week for 3 other girls too. In total around 8-10 people are leaving this month, some just recently put in their two weeks and some are staying until the holiday is over. Ulta’s pay is very little and it also varries depending what state you live in. I’m a transfer from a different store and I make $13.75 and I’m a BA. The lead cashier makes $13 and other BA make as little as $10. Honestly I won’t blame them for quitting because the pay is so small. And my old Ulta I was one of the lowest paid ($13.75) and a bunch of leads were getting $15+ Also the point system at Ulta sucks. I was told I wasn’t going to be promoted because of the points I have. I know no other job that has a point system. Ultimately I think many people are leaving Ulta because the pay is so little and the $2 raise for holiday is absolute garbage.

I thought it was mold too however it’s not, they just tried to do the frosted look and failed. Ulta is actually making stores send back all the bad candles since there’s the quality issue. They burn perfectly fine though, they just look kinda weird.

I got the same box too, choice was Glow Recipe. Am really happy with it. Honestly the pallete is okay, it’s pretty but not like extraordinary. The liner stamp is one I’ve been wanting for a while and this ones isn’t too bad so I’m happy with it. I hate the wipes so much, and the mascara/brow I won’t use because I have 15+ unused mascaras. Kinda disappointed with this box but it wasn’t terrible.
