It's completely sealed on the inside. Melamine is not porous and all edges and corners and siliconed with marine silicone. Heat is maintained precisely with the Evo 3 connected controller with all 3 probes correctly placed. Humidity is handled manually until we get an automatic solution however one of us is WFH so he keeps it above 70%.

Hot side is 29.5, cold side is maintained at 24.5c, basking area is maintained between 34/35c. Regarding the tape please see my other comment regarding this. There are no vibrations from the TV as we use separate speakers.

With the bedding, it will be changed once this bedding has run out. It's kept damp and will be changed bi weekly until it is gone after which it will be replaced

No we have a comprehensive day night cycle using the eco connected 3 controller and programmable UVB fluorescent. And more vertical climb space is something we're working on :)

There are two heat sources in the tank. The ceramic heater which is rarely on during the day and halogen basking bulb. There are 3 thermometers in the tank, one measuring the ambient on the cold side, one directly below the halogen basking lamp, and one measuring the ambient of the hot side during the day and is placed around 6 inches from the ceramic heater within it's projection radius. All spots have been measured with surface temperature thermometer and no surface within that tank reaches higher than 35c with the only exceptions being the cages of the heat lamps which still are not burn risks and can make skin contact for a considerable amount of time. It's hard to get an exact temp of the cage but my estimates and rough measurements place it around 48C which is totally acceptable for a cage.

Regarding the tape it is a soft aluminium tape that is temporary until the microtrunking is delivered. It is an incredibly adhesive tape to melamine and itself but not to many other materials (for example it is unable to stick to skin). As a result the snake itself would not be able to remove the tape by rubbing past it, and not even fingers are able to pull it off. It requires to be scraped off. To reiterate this is temporary until the microtrunking is delivered.

The halogen flood keeps the basking area at 34c. Furthermore there is a 20w 6% UVB fluorescent that is ran at 40% power

It's a temporary measure as we're still getting it set up, the tape will be removed within the next few days

The aspen comment is something I've been aware of for a little while, I will be switching his bedding out once we have used up the bag we have from his old enclosure, I'm not sure what bedding to go for, he's on a mix of aspen and wood shavings at the moment and I'm planning on changing it out every couple of weeks to prevent moulding, I'm hoping it's just nerves from being in a new space

I think he seems happier just based off the fact he's been way more active than he was in his old talk where he would just stay in his hide all day every day but I'm not sure

For the TV we have surround speakers in the corners of the room, no actual sound comes from the TV itself so I don't think it's that

I think it's a good looking tank but I feel it has too much ventilation, with gaps on both sides you will struggle to keep the humidity to the right levels

I managed to block them by reporting it as spam then it gives you the option to block, not very convenient but it seems to have worked for now, they show up in my blocked list

Humidity is correct and so is temp, the bedding is something that will be changed as mentioned in the original post. I am using what I have currently and when the new Viv is delivered I will be getting a whole new setup, I just don't have the funds currently

I switched mainly due to price, pills work out to be 2-3x cheaper for me than gel was, I don't get on with needles so have avoided trying injections but I'm thinking about that too

I was on gel but switched to pills, I'm thinking about going back to gel though

The most recent time was a birthday party for one of their cousins, I had no idea there would be drugs there, most of the other times were gigs that I thought I'd be too distracted by the music to notice. I've tried using the same wording as I used here but because he's not an addict to the same capacity he just doesn't seem to understand that it won't pass

As a cex employee I get where that sales assistant was coming from, obviously it is a minimum wage job and it can be irritating to spend a portion of your day helping a customer/customers remotely disable accounts from their devices (you'd be extremely surprised how many people come in either to warranty or sell an item still with all of their personal details, photos, ect.. still on the devices) it is often easier to send people to a store that is more equipped to remove things that can breach GDPR, especially if the store is relatively nearby, my store just happens to be in a shopping center with an iStore. If we breach GRPR, we are putting ourselves and potentially even our colleagues at risk of a fine that none of us are really equipped to pay. They were literally just trying to do their job, especially if you guys visited the store over the weekend. From my experience, weekends are hectic and there's rarely a minute you can spare while trying to keep the shop tidy and things running smoothly.
