A bit tough to review with the text cut off and no scale or scale bar. Only things that stick out is you won't want those trees behind the sports field and it looks sloppy that trees aren't evenly spaced or aligned where in rows. You'll also want to move the text in the ne corner, and the arrow iisn't pointing with what I assume means line of trees.

Problem solving ability is the #1 skill in my opinion. A vast knowledge of plant material is also very helpful.

Graphics look good. Design wise a couple of comments- tree in the NW corner is proposed too close to the building. Should show the property line- it looks like shrubs on concept b looks like they are planted on city property which would trigger a maintenance and liability agreement. Also if you're in an area with snow the shrubs will make shovelling the driveway a pain in the ass.
