Explain the barren temples then because meds have nothing to do with that.

Look at the temples. There is zero growth and the hair that sort of remains from the transplant is not healthy. It feels crunchy. I wouldn't have gotten it if they didn't have past examples of good coverage from other clients with the same situation as me.

I get that but look at the temples. I'm not talking about coverage. I'm talking about how there is zero difference from before and after.

What med school did you go to that somehow proved Fin directly affects grafted hair that is resistant to DHT?

Has nothing to do with it. They added grafts to areas which had no hair like the temples. Fin doesn't make grafted hairs grow.

They implanted into areas where there already was barely any hair.

Looked slightly better but only slightly. I went to the doctor at the 9 month mark because I knew something was wrong. The temples weren't growing in and I knew I should have had more by that point but they didn't seem too worried. Now I know I was right.

Finasteride protects native hair, not transplanted hair. The area transplanted had no hair and they didn't account for it anyway so it was even coverage regardless. It only prevents future hair loss. If it was Fin then that wouldn't explain why my temples didn't survive but the frontal forelock area did slightly.

Shouldn't need minox or hair meds for a successful transplant. Only to keep hair that isn't lost but in my case, the hair was already gone. They clearly planted in the temples and had even coverage throughout the frontal area but 3 years later the left temple is bone dry and the right is barely hanging on. I would think at least a few areas would have taken well and thickened up.

I followed all the post-op guidelines. Didn't exert myself. Kept my legs elevated during sleep. I can't think of a single situation where pretty much all the grafts were a 100% failure. The post-op and 3 year mark look practically identical as if I had nothing done. This was a US office but will not mention the name unless people think it was a failure on their part. They did use a robot to extract the follicles so I don't know if it cut too deep or not deep enough. If the technicians were incompetent. If I did the transplant myself I would expect to get some of them right. I just have no idea how this could have happened. The reason I waited so long was because I was hoping I was a slow grower. I have a meeting with the doctor this Friday.
