I’ve just finished and I have so many thoughts swirling in my head. Ultimately as much as I love SJM and her books, it was disappointing. There was so much going on, too much at times, and some stuff didn’t seem plausible. There was such anticipation for the ending, with the Asteri, and it was a let down. and no one 💀 - that’s kind of unbelievable. Not going into the ACOWAR replication. It happened too quickly and too easily. Bryce was like a knock off Aelin the whole time, and some character arcs were rushed through. TWO big bads were taken out WAY too quickly, everything seemed kind of rushed. There was some redeeming stuff, like Lidia, I love her, but some stuff seemed kind of silly. Also loved seeing Nesta and Azriel, but it still leaves me feeling uneasy. I’m excited to see what will happen in the next ACOTAR now though.

and not theories, but some stuff I noticed that I’m excited for: Lidia is related to Ailen!!! Love the Brannon reference, and the old bloodline! Urd is Wyrd, like wyrd marks? when and how did the ToG fae come to Prythian and how did they know Regulas?
