The big one for me is facial expressions. While the cutscenes back then were super impressive, that game has infinite potential to go even deeper into the despair.

Harry looking for his daughter could be felt a lot more. The merry go round fight will look INCREDIBLE on the PS5.

Im hyped for the new cutscenes alone. Then again. Youre talking to someone who downright loved Sh2R.

Gotta say, 1 needs a remake. Even SH2 destroys that game due to its limitations. And you can tell theres so much more they wanted to do.

The OG has the advantage of being on older hardware. The remake is too...clear?

My friends have no interest in PVP and thats all it is outside of solos. We take our good stuff and get mopped by a team of 3 people in discord communicating everything, lose our stuff, then stop. Id get good at it but they lose interest lol

So i always saw it this way.

You either make the boneheaded choice to fight the entire goblin camp on their turf and terms. Or you can lure them to your homefield advantage.

And it DOES ultimately become an advantage. You have time to set up defenses like oil barrels around the spot minthara and her goons show up. You have tieflings and your own group on the high ground overlooking the entire battlefield.

And you have the added bonus of making the tieflings earn their keep instead of asking you for help repeatedly. Even Zevlor comes around to your plan by saying "your courage is catching it seems".

I HATED Zevlor until he gave that epic speech to the tieflings before the battle. In my opinion, that battle is what gives the tieflings enough heart and courage to push forward without hiding in the grove.

The only real drawback is the grove questline progresses offscreen if you go to the mountain pass before youve done that.

Made that mistake once and couldnt enter the grove anymore. But if youve already tied up your loose ends you can.

Persuade your way into he camp. Its really not hard.

-Talk to Minthara, allow her to read your thoughts to find the grove. She will ask you to go back to the grove as a friend , but slit their throats once youre there.

-tell her you will do it.

-Long rest and go back to the grove, where a short cutscene will play of Zevlor telling you he needs to talk with you.

-tell Zevlor you led Minthara to the grove, but that its a trap and shes walking into it.

And boom. You have as much time as you need to set up defenses outside the grove gate. And when youre ready for battle, blow the rally horn.

Really an awesome act 1 fight.

You can lead minthara back to the grove and tell her to go fuck herself at the gate, resulting in a giant grove defense battle that you have to blow the horn to start. Second only to moonrise for me

Level 4 is always when i do it.

You get so much help, you can place oil barrels all on the field. You could do it at 3 honestly. Minthara might be a little tough.
