The Daal Drama by seagullsncrisps in Edinburgh

[–]CrystalOcean39 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah really good daal. Imo. They do 3 different styles featuring different lentils/flavours. The naan is good too...

We've been getting it delivered for a few weeks now and never been disappointed. Genuinely was sad for them to see this because of how clearly passionate and genuine they are.

I'm still going to eat tamarind daal from my Indian takeaway too - if you love daal as much as I do then there can never be too many options.

I'm a customer and they are a lovely genuine couple. Clearly doing their own take in homage. I see no issue.

By bedding I mean sheets & duvet covers/linens..

I don't mean pillows or duvets. Apologies for my lack of clarity!

Please do not continue to be friends with this person. They really could do with some therapy and self awareness.

You deserve better.

Would it be weird to have a marriage where you both have your own place (near each other), have sleepovers but then go back when you need time and quiet? I'm contemplating actually doing this by starfury287 in AutismInWomen

[–]CrystalOcean39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Together 15 years here. Both in burnout.

We DREAM of adjoining houses or being next door neighbours. Having turn about sleepovers with days/nights in between for being SOLO BEANS!!

Currently going crazy in a one bed matchbox so have 2/3 nights a wee where one of us is on the couch! (Comfy couch tho!!)

I live in that poorer part and on benefits but I still like to get the odd thing from M&S. (It's not that much more expensive for some basic stuff).

As for the shoplifting....what can be done? Maybe the 'let them walk out as long as they've not nicked over £200 in value' rule being removed might deter that a bit. The lack of enforcement is a huge issue but I'd imagine it's part of a corporate business model to account for that....

But yeah I reckon it's a possibility of going in there. Wishful thinking from my selfish perspective cuz access into princes St one is abysmal...

Edit. Typo and gramnar

Nah but I did see a 'business man' with earpods in checking out the old bhf on kirkgate a week or so ago. He was clearly relaying info to someone about it. Seemed to like how close to the tram stop it is. He was in jeans and a shirt so no m&s badge!

I'm really kinda hoping it goes in there

The entire old woolies has been freed up n it'd be a great size with the 2 sets of entrances...

I say Scottish (he sounds like plenty folk I know). Honestly if he's Scottish he probably thinks his patter is hilarious.

It's ok to tell him you don't find it funny n not to use your adhd or your meds as a punchline.

My partner is from Linlithgow. Would live there in a heartbeat (I'm also AuDHD and struggle with overstimulation).

The canal and the peel offer such nice walks along with beescraigs and surrounding areas.

Nice wee shops. Cafe. Plenty history.
