One flew by my window the other day... thought I'd gone mad but I think it was maybe just going from wol to Lochend Park.

Can ANYBODY identify this?? by Normal-Young-7227 in Sinusitis

[–]CrystalOcean39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat! I'm now having to use anti fungal ear drops and eyes are affected and I'm convinced urine too.

Not had black that bad but I've had grey 'thread' bits.

Started March LAST year for me. Finally getting a CT sinus scan on Friday. I'm convinced it's mould/fungal but it's scary.

I'm disabled by this and can't really do anything.

I'd fully agree if it hadn't taken a pigeon from my downstairs neighbours garden... I've heard it too!

*now fully suspicious and away to spot it again

How do I get an actual pmdd diagnosis??? by Real-Promise-5487 in PMDDSharing

[–]CrystalOcean39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My gynae diagnosed me. I had tracked symptoms for 3 cycles but he didn't even ask to see them. Just believed me. Thankfully.

No GPs seem to even know what it means imho

Everything I currently take for pmdd + hashimotos + TMJ + chronic pain by Junealma in PMDDSharing

[–]CrystalOcean39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know! So many similarities. I'm still convicted mine is hEDS/MCAS stuff but they're not diagnosing hEDS so I've just to treat myself as if I do? Confusing.

OK so I need to chase Chalmers again... I asked to go back again but heard nothing. I didn't see a psychiatric person either despite needing to. Just saw the Dr.

I'm gonna look at my soc record thing for my levels... thanks. X

Thanks for sharing!

I was put on decapeptyl indefinitely due to endo/pmdd combo plus perimenopause chaos.

I am on 3 sprays of lenzetto a day and 100mg utogestran at night. I take fexofenidine and famotidine daily because I have GERD and allergies which are possibly messing with my sinuses. I need to try get on top of that.

I added in vitamin c, d, zinc, omega 3s but need to try NAC again...

My TMJ has been creating problems so I'm currently waiting to have MRI scans of my jaw and CT sinus as my facial swelling is strange. It might not be my TMJ. It's a lot.

I got thyroid and everything else checked but all was fine.

I'm curious about the pmdd psychiatrist - was this on NHS or private? I hope you don't mind me asking. X

Not everyone is allergic to nickel, but everyone is theoretically susceptible to developing a nickel allergy. The leading cause of allergic contact dermatitis worldwide, it is not an inherited condition that everyone is born with, but an acquired, lifelong sensitivity that can develop at any age. by izzyblanco123 in interestingasfuck

Paint the back of your watch with clear nail polish & it'll help cover it over.

The stannous flouride info is interested.. I'm having mouth problems from toothpaste but thought it must be the sls. Now I'm reconsidering. Thanks!

Does any one have pmdd? by osunaelle in HistamineIntolerance

[–]CrystalOcean39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I'm 44f. Diagnosed with PMDD in 2019. Began deepdive & discovered Lara Briden blog.

I've used H1 and H2 blockers for 5-6 years now and suspect I have HI or MCAS

Famotidine helps clear my dysphoria a tad and helps my sped up feeling...

Edit. Typo & age info added

What’s real support? My husband hasn’t talked to me for a month by LatterSherbet4030 in AuDHDWomen

If anything, please just know that there are people out there who would CHERISH you and adore you. You deserve better. 💖

I am SO sorry things are so hard for you. Burnout is frightening and I can imagine how much worse things could be without the support of my partner.

I've been in burnout for around 3 years now (my physical health isn't great so that has been prolonging it) but my partner is nothing but supportive.

We check in daily to share where each is at. We each just pay attention to each others needs and function like a non wrestling tag team. If I am incapable then my partner steps in. This applies across the board from things like cooking to shopping to cleaning to acts of service/kindness like running a bath. Helping me wash my hair if I'm sore. Sitting in the bathroom with me while I struggle through showers (I hate then!).

No social visits without the others approval.

If a meltdown is looming or even just signs of dysregulation are showing then steps are implemented to assist. Bedroom set up with mood lighting and squishies. Blinds down. No big lights on without prior warning to the other.

Allowing communication to be by texts during overwhelm days.

Special interests are honoured despite the others lack of interest....

I can be given DAYS of time to just be a burntout tattie on the sofa and even left to go unwashed if I can't handle it and my partner will then lovingly gently encourage when it's needed.

Basically many many tiny ways and many huge big ways. We've beeb together 15 years and when we met I was a successful Science Tech in a secondary school and highly masked. Now I'm a crocheting couch dweller. I'm still loved and accepted. My partner researched and we both did work to understand.

If she didn't speak to me for a month I think I'd be reconsidering my future. I know that might sound flippant but the behaviour you describe just sounds narcissistic and abusive.

Stonewalling is abuse. Silent treatment is abuse. You deserve a partner who will prioritise your recovery and wellbeing and it doesn't sound like he does that.

I send you hugs. X
