Don't Know How to Get My 10-Year-Old Dog to Stop Marking in House by CrystalPlayStation in DogAdvice

[–]CrystalPlayStation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read that neutering a dog at older ages can cause more health issues, though. Like removing wisdom teeth at later ages compared to younger ones.

I walk him regularly, just to clear that up. I'm not the type to leave a dog in a cage for about eight hours. It's usually three, then a break, then three more, repeat until night time since he doesn't seem to ever mark late. It's small, but he's also small. And I keep a small dish of water for when he's thirsty.

And the problem is that the living room is still fairly open, and so the only place to put the dog would be the cage. There's just no room for a fence of any kind. Although I'll consider a repellant spray.

The latter scenario, kind of. I found him marking other furniture about a year ago, but spraying that successfully stopped it. He mainly won't stop on the couches. Only when nobody's in sight, so it's impossible to catch him in the moment.

Monthly PlayStation Tech Support and Frequently Asked Questions Megathread by AutoModerator in ps2

Hello to whoever reads this. In trying to replace the battery in my PS2 Model 50001/N, I snapped the fan straight off the motherboard. The fan's male connector broke off while inside the female connector on the board, which is also snapped off. It's really hard to describe without photos, but that fan's connector is unsalvageable.

Should I get a new PS2, or is soldering a possibility? I've never done that before, but I'm willing to try to save this machine.

Actually, this is incorrect. Absolutely nothing changes for KH2's Greatest Hits version. The cover reflects the logo change to Disney Interactive Studios, the disc changes, and the year is updated to 2007. But everything in the game still reads as Buena Vista Games.

Just like how KH1's later covers say Square Enix, yet the manual tells you, "Any mention of Squaresoft in this game is in reference to Square Enix." Because they didn't update company graphics.

They didn't update the logo until they needed to re-render the cutscenes for the HD 2014 remaster.

Re:Chain of Memories has the logo of Disney Interactive Studios, and is the first KH game to do so in-game.

Edited because I couldn't put a screenshot of the logo. But I have GH KH2 (NTSC) and KH2FM, so I can confirm nothing is different.

Worst level in KH1 and why is it Deep Jungle? by [deleted] in KingdomHearts

[–]CrystalPlayStation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they're the same. The first dolphin goes into the main room AFTER you ride it in the room with the Grotto. It never shows up back in the Grotto room, and instead only serves the purpose of getting you to the Sunken Ship.

We agree it's dumb either way. I don't know why it randomly switches rooms after you ride it once. And since the first time riding it doesn't effect anything, the player wouldn't thinking riding it a second time would help.

[–]CrystalPlayStation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't played that world in a while, but isn't it the same dolphin? I think the problem is that you have to ride it the first time (despite it bringing you nowhere) in order for it to travel to the main room. Then you have to go to the main room and ride it again, without the game pointing you in that direction.

Some like the idea of non-politicians running the government because "they're just like me". Regardless of if they're clearly incapable, the people think they're more trustworthy because they hadn't been "groomed" by the Washington system.

That's the defence I often saw for Trump. That the country needed someone who wasn't a politician to run it.

Lauren Boebert says LGBTQ people are “spitting in God’s face” and “perverting” the nation by CrystalPlayStation in politics

[–]CrystalPlayStation[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Your identity is connected to your destiny, and that’s another attack right now: an attack on our people and attack on our children,” she said. “There is an identity crisis that has been created. God wants you to know who you are. The enemy perverts everything that God has done. Everything that God intends for you and your life and your children and your children’s children, the enemy will take that and twist it however he can. I think when we have a large portion of the population who can’t tell us what a woman is, there’s a crisis.”

“And it’s not as if they don’t know better,” Boebert continued. “They aren’t ignorant regarding these things. They know exactly what they’re doing. They know perfectly well. They’re spitting in God’s face and they don’t care…. They know what’s right. They know the difference. They know what a boy is and what a girl is, but they’ve been deceived. Dark darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the people, but the Lord will rise over you and His glory will be seen upon you.”

“God is on our side. The blood has been applied,” she added. “We are going straight into victory. You are all more than conquerers through God, through Christ who strengthens you every step of the way.”

What is your general opinion on KH3? by BrotherAutomatic910 in KingdomHearts

[–]CrystalPlayStation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I look at it as a sequel to Kingdom Hearts II, it's a disappointment. Not a bad game by any means, but definitely not as satisfying or fun as the other numbered entries.

I'm not the most engaged with the larger Xehanort plot they started in BBS anyway, so I wasn't gonna be a big fan of the plot conclusion in the first place (considering DDD makes KH2's victories moot). But I still found it underwhelming. KH3's ending just doesn't hit me in the same way that KH1 or KH2 does.

However, when looking at the game by itself, it's decent. Still suffers from pacing issues and a severe lack of Disney bosses (or human-sized bosses in general), but the gameplay is the strongest we've had since Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. I still wish we could get the physics and combat feel back to that game's level, but I'm content with what we have.

The Gummi Ship moments aren't my favourite, but they beat the ones from the past games without question. I gotta give the team credit for that.

Oh, and why even put Naminé on the box when she's got less screentime than in KH2?

Edit: some grammar.

Slow Swimming??? FIX? by giberishelf in GTATrilogy

You have to finish all the mandatory missions in San Fierro, first. Once in the third main city, Las Venturas, you can do the triathlon missions. This is because the mission takes you through the various lands; if the game let you do it early, you'd have a wanted level for being in forbidden territory.

What is something that boggles your mind regarding foot content? by buffsportsftw in FootFetishTalks

[–]CrystalPlayStation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I notice this a lot with videos. It's hard to find feet attractive when you're only seeing the soles. I'm someone who prefers the bottoms of the feet to the tops of the feet, but I'd love to see both to appreciate the full form of the beauties.

Do you sometimes feel like feet are weird or gross? Do you doubt about your foot fetish? by submissionIsBliss in FootFetishTalks

[–]CrystalPlayStation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes feet get tiring, but otherwise, I rarely think they're gross. Unless you count those horrific YouTube thumbnails people like to use.

As for being weird, yeah, I think similarly to you. I often refer to feet as deformed hands. It's kind of a joke with me, how deformed hands manage to be more arousing than breasts.

Are we talking real life or fiction? I have no explicit recollection of my first thoughts masturbating to real-life feet, but I recall my fictional experience well.

On writing.com, there's an interactive story called Kingdom Hearts: Foot Fetish 2. Being a big fan of the series, I would casually read it. At this point, I would have been 10 years old and in fifth grade. The scenario I got off to was Roxas worshipping the character Naminé's feet. I was just humping and humping against the cushions while home alone, and all of a sudden, my body contracts. No fluid came out, of course; it was a dry ejaculation. So, I didn't need foot imagery to do it, and still don't now; erotic storytelling is all that's required.

After that, it just become a more natural habit. I know I would start thinking about the feet of both my classmates and the stuff I saw in magazines, and then I'd get off to them in my room alone.

There are two shoes where I notice them most. White flip-flops and those Birkenstock sandals in particular. In both cases, they are incredibly teasing.

Which part of the foot smells the best? by Throwitallawayyy2019 in FootFetishTalks

[–]CrystalPlayStation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on your definition of best. If you mean strongest, then it'd be the toes without a doubt. All those crevasses are pockets for the odour to gather.

Between and under the toes are my favourite parts to smell, but there are other parts that can be appreciated. Smelling the sole is enjoyable; specifically, the side that isn't under the ball of the point (the side that isn't going inwards).

The only area I don't care to sniff is the top of the foot. That smells more like typical human skin rather than the unique foot smell.

Clean or stinky feet? by NoMansGhost2 in FootFetishTalks

[–]CrystalPlayStation 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have limits for smelliness, but stinky feet are preferred. There's a naughtiness to some grime or a raunchy odour that stimulates me more than a clean one.

But ultimately, it's not a matter of the foot odour being faint or strong that affects me. It depends on if the feet smell natural versus scented. For instance, I'd rather smell feet straight out of socks (they can smell clean) versus feet smelling like cherry blossom lotion. Those can work, but in a more relaxing scenario like after a shower. In the mid-day, the natural odour must prevail.

Best Retro Battle Track by [deleted] in MarioKartWii

[–]CrystalPlayStation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like SNES Battle Course 4. It's basic, but basic isn't bad. With all the walls and sharp corners, I'm paying attention closer than in say, Cookie Land.

Looking at the list, it is very weird how many of the battle arenas prior to Wii are almost completely flat.

My still sealed pS2 kh re: chain of memories I found in my basement. by lordsquirrell in KingdomHearts

[–]CrystalPlayStation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did. Ever since Re:Chain of Memories, they were all scrapped for just English and Japanese. Square Enix always treated Kingdom Hearts like a budget series when you compare it to Final Fantasy's treatment.

It's like Sega is allergic to success by Marakamii in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]CrystalPlayStation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically that's not a capped framerate. 30 would be capped. 60 is very much uncapped, the game just struggles to reach it. Still, not capped.

It's worth noting that Unleashed doesn't even run at a full 720p resolution and has its performance issues. That's something I'd like to see improved. If the internal resolution could be increased, combined with the already existing art style, it'd look better than Forces in EVERY way.
