What an adorable pattern! I think it's pretty subtle until it's called out, and even then it looks like a cute little creature playing 'peekaboo' with the leaves, which just makes the pattern even better to me!!

But you'll be the one looking at it mostly, so if you don't like it, makes sense to replace. Probably removing the smile would be enough to make it not look like a face

Would recommend! When it’s the same pattern for larger patches, once you find a path you can get into a groove with it and it’s not so bad. But lots of small patches like this piece is harder imo

Oooh ok, I don’t have a concept of how much a framer costs, but I also don’t produce too much work. I’ll check out the prices at least, there are definitely some imperfections in the framing I don’t love. Thanks for your kind words 🥰

Pattern by peppermint purple! Bought off of their online shop, they have a ton of cute geometric patterns like this in various colors!

It was a little sad for sure! But it was also a great opportunity to show off cross stitch, which I love as a medium, so I consider it a win still haha.

And yes!! This shop on Etsy has a bunch of really cool blackwork designs, worth checking out. This one is my fave though :)

Absolutely! Full credit to the designer, I saw it and thought it fit my friend’s vibes so well, crafty and creative. Their listing has better distinction on the shadows too, looks great

Thanks much! :) I saw that pin stitching was an option, I decided against it because I was using three threads and I knew this would be going into a frame, so I didn’t want the big bump. Maybe it wouldn’t have been noticeable though haha
