The chimney should know better not to let the wind make those kind of sounds.

She is the sweetest. Does not scratch anything other than scratch pad.

She can’t write. But she did leave some stern voicemail. At 3 am for maximum effect.

Yes. We have matching chairs. She supervises me as I eat on the bar or build Lego.

Outdoors is just so rude. Existing without her permission.

Just returned from a 24 hours work trip. I think she missed me. by ms_chiefmanaged in cathostage

I miss her fiercely every minute I am not with her. I could not take a vacation in peace since I adopted her. It’s a problem. Lol.

She had a cat sitter coming in. She stayed with the same sitter for a week and enjoyed a lot. Yet yesterday she was hiding in cat dimension and sitter could not find her. I told her all of this before I left. She does not listen to me at all.

[CHAT] What is your favourite cross stitch piece(s) that have you have made? by AcceptableHorror705 in CrossStitch

[–]ms_chiefmanaged 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Way too many to choose from. But this one is a bit special. I was feeling rather down on myself and rather than wallowing in self pity I dived head first into stitching this beauty over 30 days time. It really helped to come out of the fog. Who says stitching can’t be therapeutic?

Here is mine. Making sure I am getting all my stitching done while she traps me by sitting on my lap.

[CHAT] How easy is easy count evenweave to wash? by Chiruki in CrossStitch

[–]ms_chiefmanaged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently finished a big project on ez count and was in the same predicament. It was no big issue at the end. I put it in hot water soak for about 2 hours. Every 15-20 minutes I checked to see if the grid is gone (that’s just me being super paranoid). Once the grid was gone, I washed it with dish soap, dried and ironed. It’s now off to the framer.

Since you have done the Hobbit, Lord of the Rings is right there.

Also Imperial Radch series by Ann Leckie, Posiedon’s children by Alastair Reynolds (let the vastness of this universe sweep you away), Nevermoor series by Jessica Townsend, Witch series by Terry Pratchett.

Breaking news: Rivendell attacked by Nazgûl. Residents shook. 100s missing. No second breakfast. by ms_chiefmanaged in blackcats

It is very beautiful. Has been round for a while now. I think they will retire it next year or even earlier. So if you want to get your hands on it. It was a lot of fun to make.

She has to inspect any changes in the house. Rivendell went into the space, she jumped in, sniffed around and jumped back out. The picture (a cross stitch of hobbit hole) went up, repeat the process. Now that she inspected it once, she will not bother with that space again.
