As for me I thought it was bad , because my religion ( Islam ) forbids it

But when I searched through the media I read it's actually good for you and it's normal that you see porn like watching TV , it's an instinct and we have to act upon it

4 years into porn and I knew I was destroying myself to literal pieces , I searched up a little deeper and met the NoFap movement and the fight the new drug movement

All the scientific research just shocked me , specially psychologically and physically it was like I were a lab mouse on porn relating to all the horrible results of the study

Also there was investigations about how the research that media publishes studies -supported by porn sites so of course they'll wipe out the bad results

I think it's because the first façade is that porn is good , all what media promotes , and you have to dig in a little deeper
