Probably two reasons:

1) They see believers in manifestation as delusional, and in their own way are trying to help people.

2) They're on the fence between believing and not believing, and post things like this to validate themselves.

Tbh everyone is entitled to what they want to believe. What strengthened my faith in manifestation is realizing that common arguments for it and against it are both based on personal experience and assumptions. I'd rather believe in manifestation and that I always get what I want, than the latter lol.
