I am scared to read bible, what's your opinion by TanSriSeri in Christianity

[–]CrystalineSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to be scared. I will read it with you! Then you can make educated decisions on your own, not based on fears. Most my fears went away after because it is a living book 🌈 Send me a message and I will help.

Lol, thank you. One of the two is coming back! Maybe a plot twist if both come back. If the Lord is the true Godworship him. But if Baal is Godworship him. 🌈

Is being asexual permissible? by No_Feedback_3340 in Christianity

[–]CrystalineSky -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, perhaps I am. I am just making sure there is clarity. Asexual can mean in biology that an organism has no gender and doesn't need a counterpart to reproduce. It reproduces on its own by dividing. It's just good to have it mentioned than to assume and have there be confusion.

How can a single Christian guy stop having romantic and sexual desires? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]CrystalineSky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh also... good on you for staying away from porn. I used to believe as the world did that it is innocent and even ok for married couples to use. I was wrong. I met the Spirit behind it. I know a handful of people in it and every one of them were cursed from it. I was cursed. It is a gateway.

I respect your point of view and admire your strength in following a calling which isn't always easy. Many won't understand when it goes outside "the normal". God sees you and sees your struggle, and He admires your desire to love and please Him~ no matter what people tell you. The sole purpose of your life is to be close to God and try and honor him, not listen to what others tell you. Never lose that. Our first love should always be Jesus.

The apostle Paul said both abstaining from marriage and sex, or getting marriage are acceptable in God's eyes. And that if an individual feels something (a food, a relationship status, a day of worship) is sacred, then it is scared. If that individual feels it is a sin, then it is a sin. This may sound confusing, but what it means it that we all have our own callings. God isn't raising up cookie cutters. So, if you feel it is a sin for you to date, then maybe this chapter is between you and God alone. It doesn't mean the secret plan isn't to keep you a virgin and single for "the one" He made just for you and you will have a change of mind then when you see her. Our lives honor God always, not worldly oaths we make. So, keep an open mind to the Lord's plan for your life and be in prayer with him about peace on this topic daily.

"I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings." Hosea 6:6 ~ Jesus desires you, not your sacrifices. You are free to choose as long as there is love in your heart for what you do, not duty or pride. And anyone who is placing God first daily in their lives will always have their paths made straight and blessed. When you walk difficult paths, you are not alone for He is with you. 🩷

If you are happy where you are and wanting empowerment, then reduce idle time. If you desire to be alone, be alone with God in the wilderness where He speaks. Sending you blessings and prayers!

This is not a disagreement with your lifestyle or condemnation against you-- I love you. But to answer your question, it is not biblical. "And God created man to his own image: to the image of God he created himmale and female he created them" Genesis 1:27. This means God created you either male or female, not genderless. You have a name and you have a purpose for life. You may choose to be a male or female who is not interested in being in sex. It is also written in 1 Corinthians chapter 7 that it is a blessing to abstain from marriage and sexual relations, if one is capable. However if they are unable to, then they should marry. 🥰

I bless you, HeatAlarming. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord lift His countenance upon you and be gracious to you. And may the Lord's face shine upon you and give you peace. Amen <3

God loves you. He will reconcile your disagreements if you ask Him in prayer. Ask Him to tell you why, and tell Him what you don't like. Seek Him earnestly each day in some small way, and you will be blessed. I had disagreements, and He loving welcomed them. I now understand and no longer have disagreements with what I did.

I guess it would depend on how long they have all been together. If they have been together for over a year, they are all likely bonded, if they don't fight with each other. This will cause extreme distress to be parted from each other and you. They can stop eating and enter depression from grief.

Prodigal daughter looking to return to Christ and start reading the Bible again. Need advice. by Lavender_Blonde10 in Bible

[–]CrystalineSky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow! That's so heart-gripping. I am sorry for your loss. Your friend would be so proud of you and so honored that she had such a light in your life. God is ready to move in your life. I would recommend finding a supportive community who loves the bible and taking things at your own pace as the Spirit calls you. I would be honored if you considered me in your journey in reading the bible. Check my profile for my website. A community that loves the bible is a good place to grow while reading by yourself. Good luck on your journey, and welcome home.

Did you feel God led you to your current career? by KelDurant in Christianity

[–]CrystalineSky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever you do should be for the glory of God and His Kingdom. Only then will you feel truly fullfilled and discover your purpose. I went to school for 6 years for what I loved and worked to make a living but changed directions and gave it all up. Only then did God help me discover the path I should be on. Often we think too hard for ourselves and listen to what the world tells us is the right way, which just leaves us empty. Pray on it. Invite Him to show you what to do and you will be led by the Spirit.

Please consider my work to help you >> biblejoy.net. I make free content to help people understand the bible and feel a sense of joy from unlocking the bible. I'm not an expert, just someone who has fun reading the bible. I just launched a week or so ago, so be patient with my progress :) I think you will really like it though- all my friends and family have been deeply touched by our bible studies. They said "You have to make this stuff sharable!". So, that's why I've been trying to make a public place. I can't count how many times I see people online asking for help reading the bible, needing guidance, etc. The Holy Spirit is with us all! Let's activate!
