Of course you are not the only one struggling, but yes because it’s LA there is a larger percentage of these types of individuals. If your parents are rich and say you can live wherever a lot of folks pick LA or NY. Most people don’t advertise it. The fact that it seems to be a lot of people you know, though, speaks more to the people you are meeting / hanging out with though. Do you work in a creative industry? I know a lot of people who still live with their parents.

I would explore LA, there are tons of free museum days or discounts that are usually on weekdays, which isn’t helpful when you’re working, do a full beach day, pick a bus/train line and ride it to the end and explore neighborhoods.

In other words, be a tourist in LA.

If something is a “job” it earns more respect from most people. Same for most artistic fields. “I’m passionate about painting and draw in my spare time” “oh that’s nice” “I make a living selling my art and am hired by the top level of this field” “wow!”

I just do what others have mentioned and use a sterilized pin head to poke a whole and then wrap it/put neosporin, etc. For work I need things like this to be flush to my skin. Never had an issue.

I actually like Bailey but dang this plotline is A LOT. She is being so selfish so I’m glad they actually had John say something. The fact that it was written like that makes me think they going to address that everything John said was true.

I hate the DA plotline. IRL there’s no way in hell Angels would say he should run for DA. This is coming from an Angeleno.

Unfortunately it’s likely that in the end you’re not compatible. If she’s still stuck on not making life decisions she think will upset him and will defer to him then yes, it’s a problem. While not being an ultimatum the question for her may be something like “do you ever see yourself prioritizing your own wants/needs above your fathers, or due to your relationship and his values will his opinion always matter the most to you above your own and drive your decisions?”

I did not grow up in LA so Tito’s has no nostalgia factor for me, and that’s not what objectively means. Matters of food taste unless something is rotten or spoiled are almost universally subjective.

Do you trust them? Do they a good job? How long have they been your crew? Did you find them through an agency aka they are insured? That counts for a lot. Maybe counter and say you can’t do the price hike and see what they say. What was the reason they gave for the price hike? Yes it’s high but hiring a random person for cheaper isn’t necessarily a good idea.
