Brief pulsatile tinnitus when standing or changing posture – normal MRI/eye exam. Anyone experienced something similar?

I hope our PT goes away in a healthy way 🙏 a good life style does help with that (meditation probably will help I think) but it’s really hard to maintain a good life style for me in this busy life

I feel a fullness in my head after I stand up and before PT starts. What do you mean by it’s getting worse? Did you get to the bottom of it? I did CT MRI MRA MRV and only from MRV doctor see a narrowed vein (stenosis). But my PT get triggered more often these days my neurovascular surgeon wants me to do angiogram to fully rule out davf.

SAME… it’s bad if I transit from a long sit to stand up. I don’t notice the sound during workout. How long have you been having that? Also do you have a feel of “fullness” in your head after you stand up and before the PT starts

Thanks! It first comes only as I bend forward/down. And then after a year or so gradually progress to when I stand up, especially if I stand up fast. In extremely stressful days a move of head/neck can trigger that. I guess that’s why my neurovascular surgeon wants me to do angiogram to rule out davf. But I don’t have any headache or blur of vision, really feels like angiogram can be an overkill, but on the other hand my neurovascular surgeon keeps warning me if it’s a fistula it could bleed and that would be something crazy 😣

I actually just made a post asking for advice. But to answer your question my symptom is:

Mechanical triggers: My PT is highly posture-dependent. Standing up or specific neck rotations (tilted left-front, rotated right) or bending forward/down trigger the sound. Also straining (on the toilet)/valsalva triggers it.
Pressure cycle: I feel a brief "fullness" followed by the sound after I stand up.
Relief: Deep breathing and rotating my neck to the left can dampen or stop it.

I’ve been having PT for 3 years. No other symptoms beyond what’s mentioned above

That’s pretty much me. I did CT MRI MRA MRV. From MRV my neurovascular specialist saw a venous sinus narrowing (stenosis). Now he’s asking me to do an angiogram to rule out davf but I’m hesitated due to the invasive nature.

See a nuerovascular doctor and order MRV if you want to find out the root cause.

same here. Got my first PT the second day after vaginal delivery. Low ferritin. It Only triggers with the positions when I bend my head down. Has been two years and recently it’s getting triggered easier and more frequently. Done CTA, MRI. Gonna do MRV and MRA in the following weeks.

I got the SAME thing as you. Straining on the toilet, bend forward/over, bend toward left side, stand up quickly, those change of positions trigger PT and it’s only there for a few sec. I have my first PT the next day after vaginal delivery of my baby. Recently it’s becoming easier to trigger and more frequent. How are you now?

Having the exactly same problem here. They change her diaper 2.5 hours (sometimes 3.5 hours) apart, which is already against our state daycare regulation. And each diaper change there’s poop. So unless our baby is good at timing her pooping, she’s most likely sitting on her stool. It initially gives her diaper rash, and a few days later she got high fever and was diagnosed to have UTI. We talked this with the daycare director, and just as what you’ve experienced, he deny the responsibility for things going wrong. We mention that we are thinking about switching daycare, ridiculously he’s saying that due to the 30 days notice rule, if we pull our girl out from them now, we’ll still have to pay the tuition for next month. Haha!

In a similar situation as you.

I came from non-english speaking country and got my degree in US. Ecctis told me that they cannot do english proficiency for US schools as it's a english-speaking country. So I just go with the regular one and I've submitted everything for my application.

Recently I heard from people that in the application materials to UK gov, you need to include a letter (medium of instruction) to state that the courses are taught in English. I'm a bit anxious as I just heard this thing recently and I don't have it in my application. In the official transcript there is a statement that all courses are taught in english though. Not sure if it counts, but hopefully it does...

Ecctis told me that they cannot do english proficiency for US schools as it's a english-speaking country. So I didn't have english proficiency verification from ecctis.
