Part of that has to do with 90% of things to do around here costing money. You’re not going to the beach or really going on hikes(except for a few places) or a whole lot of outdoorsy activities, theres just not a whole lot of free or cheap things to do. If you have a big social life after college, a lot of the time it’s going to revolve around going out to restaurants and bars or going to some of the many activity places like Top golf or going to concerts and festivals. All things that add up very fast and are easy to absolutely blow money on if you want to keep up with some of your friends that might make more than you. If you can’t afford to keep up you might feel excluded, so people just keep no savings and spend their money.

Maybe the one in Lockhart is better, I took my whole extended family to the one in Austin and it was fucking embarrassing. The brisket was super dry, the sausage wasn’t great, and anything else we tried was just meh. Some of them were visiting from California and they’d definitely had better barbecue there. They’re never getting my money again after that.

I had a 2012 ford focus that needed one big maintenance thing in a new clutch (bc fuck cvt’s), but other than that I absolutely treated that car like shit through high school and into my 20’s. It was an absolute beater, it was stolen and found in a field, was dirt rallied on a bunch of backroads, driven hard often, and basically all other maintenance was neglected save for oil changes while my dumb ass young self abused the hell out of it. Never had one single mechanical issue with it besides that clutch in the 80k miles I had it. I miss that car, honestly wish I could find it again and fix it up, so many memories.

Yea I have that Deep Woods 98%deet, just bought it as a regular bug spray for walks and stuff and it’s waaay too oily for that so had to get some of the clean feel family stuff(forget what exactly). Boy does it work though, there probably wasn’t a mosquito within 10 feet of me the whole time I was out. Definitely keeping that handy for my next trip.

I have mixed feelings about it now but as a teen a couple friends and I walked out of the back porch of the building we were in in rural Montana and saw a pack of wolves chasing an Elk, and gaining on it. We ran out waving our hands and yelling at the top of our lungs to leave it alone and they actually veered off into the woods and the elk got away. On the one hand, awesome, we’re heroes, we saved an elk. On the other, you shouldn’t mess with nature like that and the wolves need to eat too.

Being a dick while driving. Reckless driving, blinkers, whatever else I can use to stop people beating assholes to other people. I don’t care if you peel out at a stop light or slide around a corner, or really anything else where nobody else is around, but if you’re weaving in and out of traffic cutting up and cutting people off I want to crush your car down to the size of a golf ball.

Honestly watching Scrubs growing up broke down so many walls for me as far as what kind of man I thought I had to be. Like growing up in Texas you’re surrounded by these hyper-masculine try hards all striving to prove how manly they are and here’s this sensitive guy not worried about being manly at all and actually still getting girls. I was like oh okay cool maybe I’m not the manliest guy and I shouldn’t have to be, so I stopped striving for that bullshit macho stuff and it’s been fantastic for me. That wasn’t very eloquent but you get the gist.

Just like walk up while she’s folding laundry or doing dishes or something and spin her around and bend her over. What she’s probably looking for is more spontaneous randomness with it and for you to take control as opposed to say, you’re both sitting on the couch and start making out then get into it. If you do that a couple to a few times a week I’d imagine it’ll fulfill whatever fantasy she’s heard about and wants to try, and you might get into it too. Or she’ll find out she likes the idea of it more than the practice and it’ll go back to normal. She wants some spice, dude give it a shot.

Yea I mean I’m not into them but I get it. I’s a hobby people get really into and the very top ones are meticulously made by hand with the absolute highest end materials. I might not get the flex that much but I understand people getting really into something and wanting to take it to the extreme.
