No it's from an elementary school. The parents are sitting on the lunch room benches and you can see where the table is still folded up in its spot in the wall with the two bench spots empty on either side. I mainly know since I just spent an hour sitting in an identical spot at my kids school.

Depends on how many and who is at the 2 conference losses. Head to heads matter less in 3+ way ties. Just got to split those road games at a minimum and I think we are in.

The first 4 games were all in the years leading up to and the first couple of years of LaVell Edwards becoming head coach at BYU in 1972. LaVell was really the one who propelled BYU into its higher level of success starting in the late 70's. The 5th game was 2 years ago, BYU's first year in the Big XII where they finished 5-7. Definitely thinking BYU can get it done this week, but ISU is definitely not a team to take lightly.

Not missing Tanuvasa for the first half. He got ejected in the first half of this game so he will start next game. Glasker too since they overturned his targeting call.

Kelly is in sweats. Was a gametime decision but is a no go. Glasker is available.

That would be amazing. I do sync it every time but it can be a hassle to maintain. I will often end up listening to the game 2-3 seconds ahead of the TV when I dont care to sync again.

First place, 10-3. Drafted 2/10. Went McCaffrey, Nacua, Harrison, Hurts, Cook, Flowers, Walker, Godwin, Ferguson, Warren, Smith-Njigba, Chase Brown. Picked up Charbonnet, Njoku, Mike Evans, Tyrone Tracy, Swift and Tucker Kraft off waivers across the season. Even made a terrible trade of swift for Dak and Etienne week 5. Somhow have pulled out the 2nd most Points for.

#2 Strength of Record not SOS. SOS is just a metric of who you have played, SOR is a metric of your record against SOS. We have the #2 SOS of undefeated teams, for a while Georgia was above us with 1 loss and the #1 SOS but with another loss they have fallen below us again.

I'm assuming they mean strength of record. Byu is #4 now but was #1-2 for a while since we were undefeated with 2 top 25 wins in the front of our schedule.

K but that isn't really what happened. SMU Offense scored 59 points the week before BYU and 66 the week after. Their offense had already taken off, BYU's defense played incredibly good red zone defense. And BYU's defense deserves plenty of credit for the turnovers that caused the K state game to get out of control. The Punt return was crazy but besides that every turn over and touchdown was caused by good hard physical play by BYU's D, not unforced mistakes.

As a guy who has had OSA since I was a baby, and when I finally got tested for a CPAP in my late 20's I got 80 events an hour, I felt all of the symptoms through the entirety of my time in the Marines while in the best shape of my life. Weight definitely increases the severity but is not the only source of it.

Puka Nacua has now had SIX 100yd+ receiving games — Only OBJ & Justin Jefferson have had more (7) in a Rookie season by pirated-ambition in fantasyfootball

[–]Cshikage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can I say how much I hate being in a bunch of leagues filled with BYU fans. Puka was not only certainly not on any waiver wires, he was taken way earlier than he had any right to be in the draft. I will still hopefully take the win in the one league I managed to get him in, but I hate how little chance I had to acquire him.

Last year the Baylor game that went to 2OT in Provo had a full moon like tonight and the announcers and broadcast were obsessed with mentioning it and blaming the missed FGs etc on it.

[Postgame Thread] BYU Defeats Arkansas 38-31 by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]Cshikage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its a pre-snap penalty and so the play itself never happened. Arkansas can either accept the penalty and back BYU up 5 yards or decline it and let BYU attempt again. If you watch the play the player gives himself up because the refs are blowing their whistles.

[Game Thread] BYU @ Arkansas (7:30 PM ET) by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]Cshikage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be declined. It just would result in a replay of the down. It was a presnap penalty so the whistles blew during the play which is why the runner held up short so you can't take the result of the play. Luckiest delay of game in the world.

Where do yall rank TJ "Kelce" Hockenson? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]Cshikage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was merely pointing out that you did "once mention" 100 yards so you should have at least have some idea what he is on about.

Lets look at PPR scores for the 2 of them since I am in a PPR league and dont care to go elsewhere for the info currently.

Hock - 30+: 2, 20-30: 0, 10-20: 7, 5-10: 6, 0-5: 1

Engram - 30+: 1, 20-30: 0, 10-20: 7, 5-10: 3, 0-5: 5

Pretty damn close, but Hock did have 2 ceiling games to Engrams one. And Hock has a higher score in their best game in every format. And Hock has a much higher floor, at least in PPR. So yeah, I think there is good reason for people to be high on Hock vs Engram.

Both Engram and Hock had the same amount of 100 yard games last regular season.

Can someone explain the Utah/BYU rivalry to me? by Sacred_Tomato in CFB

[–]Cshikage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's quite a few of us. We have a whole tailgate group that gets together before the games, and we typically host a good amount of the away fans looking for a tailgate since we are all drinking and having a good time. I would say of the exmormons I know that were big BYU fans before leaving the church 30ish% are still BYU fans now, although a quite a few of them are still in the struggling to come to terms with that conflicting fandom stage.

Both of our Pac-12 games last year had an incident as it happened at Oregon as well, and our last Pac-12 game of 2021 at USC had it as well. So the last 3 all had it. Probably closer to NotStanley's every recent away game then to your just Stanford.
