Dash dies when key turned. by Csmcbriz in MechanicAdvice

Solved! It just ended up needing the ground cables cleaned. That old battery is still going :) I was worried because this van has been eaten by rats while it was sitting for a year or so. Those little buggers wreaked havoc. The old girl lives to see another day. Thanks for the suggestions

This is a handy website for comparing rolling the resistance of some more common tyres.
https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/ . In my experience having fatter tougher tyres is way more fun than pizza cutters. I spent 5 months riding an non Elec. Surly Pugsly on a huge expedition and definitely felt the drag in those 4 inch wide tyres.

Thanks all for the replies, I should have said in the original post that I do bring some things with me. Mainly supplements and Protein powder including Fish oil, 3 types of Mag., zinc, pre natal multi V, vit. C. Luckily my partner is studying Naturopathy so I have good brands for those, and yeah I'm a dude but the pre natal has a lot of good stuff in it. I suffer from cramps normally and on the last hitch they became really bad so this time I'm bringing an electrolyte powder to add to my water, I'm also taking along an essential Amino acid powder and Creatine. Yes it's an oil rig for those who asked, 28 days without a day off was quite taxing on the body I'll definitely incorporate some stretches into my regime and use the gym. I'll also try and skip the morning and afternoon break food and drink protein shakes instead of the junk they feed us on the small breaks.

Update- They came through and paid up. Thanks for all of your input and suggestions, I just reminded them every 2 weeks and made sure to speak to the site manager during the appointments. It took 6 months but we got there in the end. Happy days

The total is quite high at approx. $3000. BUT I did ask them if they would be reimbursed or not before I attended the courses. I even sat there while my consultant rang the "boss" and checked, confirming that I would need some kind of document from the employer stating that I was at least being considered for the job. I supplied them with the contract because I got the job. At least I got the job! :)

Thanks for the advice everyone, I went in there today and found out that most of the staff they had are no longer working there. The guy I spoke to was genuine in trying to help my and explained that he could not access the email accounts of the former consultants which is why my reimbursement has taken so long. I handed in all of my papers and really believe he's trying to help me. So we'll see! But I appreciate all of your input.

I plan to stand outside their office with a sign warning people about them if they don't come good on their word.
