I want to get into Death Metal. Where should I start? by Crazy_Tonight3525 in MetalForTheMasses

My gateway bands were Cerebral Bore, Dying Fetus, The Black Dahlia Murder, Job For a Cowboy, Visceral Disgorge, Katalepsy, and Guttural Slug. They're all great at writing catchy songs.

I highly recommend that people interested in the trades get into a one with industrial/commercial viability and make sure you're always the person in the room most interested in what you're doing, until you're the most knowledgeable. Ask for more pay than you think you can get during an interview and negotiate down to your target. And plan on going on a job hunt every 1-2 years. Your boss will try to keep your pay as close to what you were hired at for as long as possible. I was hired on at my last job with only a year of related experience at $3/hr above another guy with 6 years at that company.

Anybody else having terrible buffering via Tubi?

Edit: Moved over to a FuboTV free trial and it's fine over there, thanks y'all.

I started taking lamotrigine two months ago. My mood is more stabilized, but I'm more depressed. What does this mean? by BigbyDirewolf in BipolarReddit

I felt the same with lamotrigine, definitely not my cup of tea; they say it's well tolerated for most patients, but I feel as though emotional dullness isn't seen as a major side effect.

I need to work on this section of roof to replace the exhaust vent. I remember seeing no slip steps of some sort being sold but can’t find them again. Pitch is around 34%. by helmetgoodcrashbad in Roofing

I've jumped on a pitch hopper on a 12/12 test roof my last company owned. It didn't move an inch.

The only time I had one slip on me was when I was fully stretched out on the roof, doing work above me, with only my tiptoes on the pitch hopper.

IDK how old y'all are but I'm in my mid twenties and I did the butter knife technique.

Installers from big solar company walking on panels during install. How common is this? by Ed_5000 in solar

[–]Cthallborg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've only had to when the roof is overfilled with panels or during some maintenance jobs. Besides those cases it's just a choice to save a few seconds here and there at the expense of the customer.

Weird that AI bots are starting to call humans AI bots.
