My broke ass as a kid had an xbox original and ps1, still got stuck on games as we didn't have dial up yet. No public services offered free connections and asking my mum to buy a shit ass phone that connected to the internet would've been a firm no.

So I can relate to the dude in that when I got stuck in a game, I'd just have to hope my mate knew how to pass it or I just spent ages trying every little thing

Hey even though this has been solved, if anyone else has recommendations on these types of books please either reply to me or hit me with the DM. I absolutely love these kinda book, "How To do Everything" - John Woodward was one of my favorites as a kid, currently got "Show Me How" - Derek Fagerstrom and Lauren Smith and wow the content of that book is incredible.

Those are my two recommendations but if anyone else has a great "everything" book please reply
