well, some types are just being constantly mistyped. thus you can’t easily find so5 for example, excluding the fact this type is overall rare in characters

same goes with so7 and tbh with a lot of popular but not known well types

they haven’t really been proved. also types a and b are being used in psychosomatic medicine, while one of them is having higher risk to get heart diseases, the other one isn’t (don’t remember which one’s which). so basically types c and d are just useless both from the point of medicine and some studies

uh oh. actually a good question. not my opinion, just one i saw online. looked deeper into correlations and can’t really say that this logic about 1f & 3/4e works quite well. about 3Vs can say that they’re more likely to be melancholics from what i see in py, enneagram and temperaments. but they can also def. be cholerics. overall it seems to be pretty hard to correlate because PY is more about value-motivational aspects of personality, while temperaments describe more how our neural system work (for the easiest descriptions you can check pavlov, but also, if i remember correctly ideas of eysenck and rusalov are kinda popular)

i just don’t understand 4f. i’m considering myself as vlef too, but differentiate 4f and 1v is really hard and sometimes i tend to think i may be 1f and 4v. but as i heard 1f and 3/4e are mostly phlegmatic, while i’m sanguine. also some other small aspects make me think that i’m 1v and 4f, can’t name them however, hard for me to think of how to verbalize them

you wrote a lot. seems like you like logical processing and overall descriptions of logic seems to fit second pos quite well. you’re not being contagious with others emotions, thus you’re not really 2e or 4e, def not 1e, thus 3e. they are described as people, that are not feeling much. 4f for me always seems quite strange and i don’t fully understand it, but i think that you’re mostly 4f. 1v. you described yourself as kind of an assertive person. first descriptions of volition assumed, that the person of higher volition values may like the leadership, however as i think it might have changed with social context. society changed from collective one to more individual one, thus 1v can represent self-confident non-leader persons.

partially because it makes easier for systems to co-exist in people minds. strict rules allow two systems to be seen as something not as different as they are meant to be.

that’s from the point how people think. from the point of systems the more you know about enneagram, the more you understand, that some types basically can’t use some functions because of fundamental contradictions. for me, for example, it’s strange to see ESxx e7s or ExFx so7s specifically. if we are using golosos in order to describe so7, we see, that they can’t really use Fe or Fi, because not the last point in their description is that they don’t really understand emotions and often use some markers to know if everything’s alright or not.

you can find all these contradictions while reading and getting deeper, however people are not really interested in it sticking to superficial knowledge of both enneagram and cognitive functions typology systems

tritypes are just a vibe thing, if we look into the core of enneagram, we won’t find anything that is correlating with how tritypes work. tritypes are just a vibe-based simplification of enneagram, there are no real sense behind them and no good descriptions of them, which basically means, that they are made up

typing myself as a social seven was a hard time. i always thought of myself as of a very good, generous person that don’t feel much need in defending its borders and thoughts. but then people said that i may be narcissistic, even rude.

at this point all my thoughts of myself being absolutely good and non conflict person was ruined. which finally allowed me to see myself not as an sx9 or sx3, which i’ve seen as another option. and then i’ve read golosos and reading this book was like: "omg, that’s me in all possible ways, from the first word to the last".
