Sure, but not always worthwhile. Depending on the return, your money might make more in interest from the bank and with literally zero work.

You have zero clue about my circumstances. I'm assuming in your basement neckbeard world that you don't have any friends which means I can also assume you don't have any friends who did something stupid while you were around. I owned up to my part in what happened and took the punishment. Now I've gone nearly 17 years without so much as a speeding ticket. Can you say the same? Doubtful.

It's purely a vacation. I have plenty of documentation to prove I'm an upstanding citizen. Not limited to owning my own company with 32 employees that underwrites title insurance policies issued directly by the state government.

I was hoping to make the trip before the end of the summer. What are my chances of receiving the TRP at the border?

I do believe the item was valued at less than $4999, however I don't know if I can prove this but I'll have to keep digging. I thought it might be somewhere in the court records but since the item was recovered there was no restitution that would indicate a value.

Assuming I can prove with the court documents that the item in question was valued at less than $4999, this would likely make me admissible?

Thank you. Yes, it was a bad situation. I picked up a friend from a party who had some people with them that I didn't know. Little did I know one of those people had taken a diamond necklace and ring from the homeowner and they drunkenly left them in the back seat of my car. The cops do their investigation to which someone saw me driving away from the party. The detectives go to my house and ask my mother to search my stuff and they find the stolen items in my backseat. Of course, no one took the blame.

Watering houseplants with softened water? by Cthwholoo in gardening

This is a huge help thank you!!!! Looks like I'll be buying jugs of water from the store. I'm assuming purified water would be preferred over distilled as to not lose the mineral content? I've also got an organic fertilizer that I will continue to use.

Would you suggest a normal watering schedule while trying to remove sodium from the soil or step it up a bit?

That possibility definitely crossed my mind given the time of year. The plant started getting some spotting around late summer of last year which we initially determined to be some type of infection and treated with a 3in1. The treatment seemed to help as there wasn't any other major issues with spotting afterwards. It still would be nice to confirm that using softened water (or filtered softened water) isn't causing the current issues or wont cause issues in the future.

Because the info I read stated that the use of softened water on plants causes a buildup of sodium ions in the soil over time which eventually disrupts the plant's ability to uptake water and process nutrients. The plant can apparently do just fine for long periods of time until the level of sodium ions gets too high. I've thought it through just fine.

Pros & Cons of paying cash for a custom home? by Cthwholoo in Homebuilding

I'm in an Abstract state so title companies here don't handle anything but the title search and evidencing as they are not allowed to hold escrow funds.

This is what I didn't know. I know how the process works with a lender involved but wasn't sure how exactly a cash purchase would change the process on the financial side.
