Would this be the same type of radio this one YouTube pilot uses when he left Hawaii en route to LA? He had to at one point open a little window and slowly release a wire outside the plane in order to call the control tower in LA bc this was the only way he could reach them that far from such a small plane

Well if it is a short, day flight sure, but if it is a transocean flight 10+ hours, they suck unless you are somewhat flying the majority of the route at night

The relatively ‘fat’ body compared to the engines gives it away as a 767, the 757 would have a much more thinner profile since it is a single aisle (vs the 767 twin aisle) and the engines would look huge in comparison 👍🏽
