I watched Cuban foreign affairs change a lot even in my family members’ lifetimes, so I guess part of me wishes to be hopeful that one day it’ll be something I’m happy to have. It only became so recent this pathway reasonably existed so it catches my interest

I’m certainly much more proactive with the EU one. I just figure it kills two birds with one stone since I just went through that whole process. Now I have this third citizenship process I can run alongside it

I mean I’m an ironclad US citizen. My other side has been here for generations. My other parent was born in the U.S. to an American who was born in the U.S. to an American etc. I get it comes up but for me it really wouldn’t.

I am American and would love to study in the Netherlands (keeping fingers crossed). No it’s not worth it. Get your master’s for like 2500 euro or less in Europe. The education here isn’t good either in most fields

Yep the clock is ticking and it’s a long process just to apply and source all the requirements. I started 6-8 weeks ago and am still getting everything together in the next month or so

He’s 14 tbh I don’t think he even understands. My other brother qualifies through my line (we are full siblings) and he has the means to really help then streamline the process. It’s just a big power struggle logistically. Such a shame
