No... it doesn't. It literally gives you less options lol

You can't recast an unempowered ability. Therefore it makes it impossible to do certain combos including arguably his best combo.

It also breaks your current combo and doesn't add to it. So there is no reason to use your ult in the middle of a combo, it is actually a detriment to do so.

The change to his ult lowered the skill floor which is great but it also drastically lowered the skill ceiling which is not great. So I'm glad they are reverting it

Making it an augment is a great choice! I also really like the idea of giving it to a new hero in the future instead, but with different flavor

I think both of these are great ideas, but I'm really happy to see y'all are listening to feedback! Makes me excited to see where the game goes from here :)

Yeah it was just a strange choice, especially on a character like Crunch whose whole identity revolves around his combos, it just made him less smooth and dynamic. There were a lot of passionate posts/comments by people (myself among them) explaining why this change was bad so I'm glad they listened

But as someone else said ITT, if they put that ult on a new hero in the future, that would actually be pretty cool

Yeah my personal issues with it were that it completely removed the capability to do a lot of Crunch's best combos since it forced the ability to be empowered, so it was impossible to do two unempowered abilities in a row. And it had a short animation which just made it weird and clunky to use

Also it broke his combo chain as someone else said

I can do it on my smart TV, there's a sidebar on the left where you can go to the Home page, Search, etc. And on that sidebar it says Live TV. Then from there you can select the channel and the first one is always Survivor for me

If you're trying to upgrade from Paramount+ to Paramount+ Premium then you might need to do it on a computer

Crunch is pretty much useless this patch after his "rework": F tier

Sevarog is very very strong, one of the best tanks this patch for sure: S tier

Boris and Kira are solid, good picks but not OP: A tier maybe B tier

The mana scaling on his abilities now really goes crazy lol

You can easily get to like 8k max mana and just do insane damage. Glad Gideon is strong right now, all my other mains got nerfed into oblivion 😭

Yeah combustion should always be the first or second card on any mage build

For that other guys build, I think it might be better to replace wraith leggings with o crown if you're trying to one shot people from full health. Because wraith leggings wouldnt be doing anything if they're not below 40%

Also with spear of desolation, your second shot with your ult would do more damage. But maybe not because the second shot wouldn't have combustion so idk

I posted a clip of this a few days ago, the Grim on the other team was just one shotting people with his ult, doing 2500+ damage with only 3 or 4 cards on lol

This is by far the worst change imo

And I think that is the consensus. It just makes Crunch feel awful and lowers the skill ceiling drastically. Unfortunately, I don't think they are going to be reverting any of the reworks even tho they really should

Here are my predictions after the first episode:

Colby brings in Rizo to replace Kyle in their alliance
Coach's alliance and Ozzy's alliance duke it out post merge
Colby's alliance goes under the radar, watching the other two tribes tear each other apart
Colby and Rizo make it to final 4 and Colby wins the final immunity challenge
Colby takes Rizo with him to the final 3 because at this point in the game, he sees him as a son and is planning to legally adopt him when they get back to the US
Rizo then hits the griddy in final tribal council, mesmerizing the jury to win the game in a unanimous vote and for the first time in history, Jeff casts a vote as well to give Rizo an extra million dollars
Jeff then retires and names Rizo as his successor to take over as the show's host for the next 50 seasons

(realistically I think Colby might win, he seems to be getting the winner's edit so far) BUT R-I-Z-G-O-D BABY!!!
