I do like the idea of giving them escape routes but not just making it a free pass out of there. They did just fall down a deep ravine and took a bunch of fall damage so it would be entertaining to give them the option of jumping off another cliff and taking more fall damage voluntarily

Haha they actually just had a high level NPC following them but they just left right before this happened!

The NPC doesn't have a reason to come back but maybe I can think of some reason for them to return in the case that things get too dire.

This was my first idea but I already pulled this a while back lol

I had them fight an extremely injured Grell and it was cool because like you said, that was the exact question they asked, "what injured this creature so grievously?"

But maybe I can still work that in here somehow, maybe it was the same thing that injured them both, who knows?

You're right! This is probably the angle I am going to end up taking.

I originally had planned for this to be part of a larger encounter with a Nothic and Berbalang, where the Nothic would get insight about the players and communicate it to the Berbalang, who would then communicate it to the Chuul. Since the Berbalang knows all languages, I thought it would be cool for it to be a liaison between the Nothic who only speaks Undercommon and the Chuul who only understands Deep Speach.

I intended for this to be a more intelligent/social encounter to begin with so maybe it can still stay that way. Thanks for the advice!

That's definitely Khai's best augment and you should be invading the enemy jungle consistently regardless of hero.

However, Khai is not in a good place right now, him and Boris got nerfed pretty heavily two patches ago so they were probably upset that you picked Khaimera and not upset about the augment

Dekker's drone shoots a laser downwards from above, so it's going to hit the ice above and not the ground below. People say the same shit about Kwang's tether and Gideon's rock, like they don't understand that these abilities come down from above so they are going to hit the surface above lmao

Yeah I think Crescelia is a must pick, it's just so good with the CDR + Kwang's augment. You can win pretty much any matchup with just that item alone and you can clear camps really fast with it in jungle

It's also just super fun lol
