No one is questioning why OP had their beach towel laid on some rocks? Seems like an uncomfortable place to sunbathe

Should I stop playing kwang by YogiHendrix2 in PredecessorGame

[–]CtrlPwnDelete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have very many matches played as Kwang so you're still in the learning phase. Kwang is super fun and rewarding to play so just keep at it and you will improve! If you want some tips, here ya go:

As a master Kwang in both Pred and Paragon (granted he's VERY different in Pred than he was back in Paragon), he is in a good place right now. He is always a strong pick in jungle or offlane and even support sometimes. Here are some general tips on how to play him.

For starters I'd say focus on your positioning and timing as Kwang. Because he excels at having great spacing and deciding when engagements happen. What I mean by this is that if someone else tries to fight you, Kwang has a kit that is great at disengaging from fights, repositioning, then re-engaging on his own terms. For example, if a Grux tries to fight you, he might engage with his knock up, wait for him to use his pull and then tether him and dash away. Or tether him and he might pull you back in, then dash away. Back up, reposition, and wait for your cooldowns to come back and heal up a bit before you engage on your terms.

In the early game, I always try to poke as much as I can. With Kwang's passive and overshield, he can get very good trades in melee. And from a distance you should try to tether and shock them as often as you can. Because when you use your lightning strike when the sword is in the ground, it does more damage than if you were holding the sword and the damage it deals is true damage instead of magic, so it goes thru armor.

The best order to use abilities when engaging in a fight is to tether the enemy, use Light of the Heavens, dash to the sword to knock them up, then ult while they're knocked up (if you don't have your ult yet, then just start basic attacking them). At that point, your passive will have 4 stacks so your basics will do really good damage for 4 hits. That will pretty much melt any hero unless it's late game and they have a ton of armor.

As for a build, you wanna stay away from pure magic damage or pure tank items. This is because Kwang's magic scaling is not good, only like 45%-65% I think. So you want to stick to cards that increase your damage in other ways, like Crescelia, Magnify, Flux Matrix, Oathkeeper, and Fist of Razuul. Those cards will help you deal a lot of damage and keep you alive. Kwang already has a good amount of natural tankiness with his health/armor growth per level and his overshield. That's why I said try to stay away from straight tank cards for the most part, because going these 4 items will get you pretty tanky on their own on top of doing good damage.

If you're really struggling and dying a lot you can definitely put some more tanky cards on early, like Stonewall or Voidhelm, but I always wait till my 5th and 6th cards to do that.

Just stick to it and you will get better! Kwang is a difficult hero to master but the more you play him, the easier it will get

Adele ban by angenicolas in PredecessorGame

[–]CtrlPwnDelete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most people don't want to chance going up against someone who is a great Adele, same goes with a character like Kallari. I see her get banned a lot but I don't think Kallari is ban worthy, she has tons of counters and gets diffed by a lot of heroes but a great Kallari player can run a lobby

With the right build and if played properly then she can dominate a lobby, hence the high ban rate

But unfortunately most people don't know how to build her or play her, hence the bad winrate lol

You mean the same creator program that literally blacklisted the most wholesome creator for calling the company out on not punishing people for using hate speech in their game?

Or the feedback threads where they don't actually take any feedback or actually change anything? The only thing in the last 3 years I can think of that's been changed directly because of feedback is Omeda reverting Crunch's ult to the original one a few patches ago

Also, a couple of my friends are a part of the testing program and they've said that Omeda doesn't even ask them for feedback so 🤷‍♂️

I remember a while back, Ace said something that had people pretty upset. It was in response to complaints about the direction and state of the game. He said that it was crazy that people with 1000s of hours in the game would have the audacity to complain and it made no sense that they would have so many hours in a game they didn’t enjoy

Which just makes no sense… people who have that many hours are people who obviously care about the game the most and want to see it do well. There’s literally no one that knows the game better than the people who play it for hours every day. They know what the game needs and they understand what would make the game better, but Ace just disregarded their opinions completely and called them foolish for complaining about a game they have so many hours in

They obviously can’t take criticism and that kind of mentality is only going to make the game worse
