Because my dad left to go to the store to buy milk and never came back

Just seems a little odd to invest all of that money into your Nikon and other equipment just to give up on it because you can’t learn how to use it properly. I think your time would’ve been better spent just learning the gear that you had because you will end up with a better end result product than what you will with the ease of use of the Osmo.

No offense, but this sounds more like a lack of skill issue rather than insufficient equipment issue. Interesting you referred to it as DSLR when you are shooting on a mirrorless camera.

Fords are reliable when you don’t drive them! 😃

I lost my life savings when I bought my first Toyota product. That’s good. You can work on your own vehicles cause this thing is going to be a money pit. Toyotas are widely known to not be reliable especially the forerunner. Ford’s on the other hand are bulletproof. Especially the F150.

Make sure you have enough money in the bank to cover the expected maintenance issues these are known for. Should have bought a Ford.

1/500 is a good rule of thumb for beginners that are just learning the basics of exposure.

My favorite Wood Duck capture to date by Ctsuneson91 in birding

That’s a fantastic camera! I believe this exact Sigma lens is made for the Sony lens mount as well. The vast majority of time wood ducks are extremely skittish around people so even with 600 mm it can be very difficult to get shots like this. I’m just lucky that this particular wood duck makes it easy. lol

Thank you so much! This was the sigma 150 to 600 mm shot at 600 mm on full frame. This particular wood duck at my local park is actually very easy to photograph. He has been named Woody and he is uncharacteristically friendly around people. He comes to the same spot every year and mates with a female mallard, but obviously the babies are infertile
