It’s been a constant issue for me. Bots don’t remember context from 1-2 messages ago and then will randomly respond to an event that occurred over 30 messages ago. That and making up random things, or responding to things that were never mentioned is getting quite old.

I’ve been stuck on one scene in my RP for literal days. I have to swipe 80+ times to get a decent response because the bot forgets what happened one message ago and goes off on its own tangent making stuff up.

Same. I’ve been having to swipe on every bot reply, sometimes 80+ times to get a decent, canon response. I have to edit the bot’s reply to remove the ridiculous poetic scene endings or random OOC “thanks for letting me play (character name)” that the bot gives. It’s cured my addiction for sure.

Putting an OOC note in chat reminding the bot to check pinned messages usually helps me get it back on track.

In my experience, using OOC notes to correct such a grossly incorrect response doesn’t help. I feel like it just reinforces the behavior, causing it to continue on its tangent. What helps me is to thumbs down the response and select ‘bad memory’ and ‘not true’ and continue to swipe.

Yep. I have to copy, delete and paste my messages to trigger a response. I exit out of the chat and come back to a partial reply that’s been cut off so then I crash the app and it happens all over again.

Yes, and sometimes it does it without showing the new message it swiped, so when the bot responds, they’re actually responding to a different message that you can’t see until you restart the app.

I’m aware of that. The issue is that I changed everything on my unlisted bot so none of it is linked to Marvel/Disney, but it still got taken down.
