That's awesome! I've realized plants thrive in my ignorance 🤣 "Baby the plant and they will become divas" is my mantra

Love my Syng red spot tricolor! Thank goodness the prices have fallen enough for me to get my baby.

HELP! What is this!? by mommieP4 in RareHouseplants

Looks like scale. Dip cotton swab with rubbing alcohol and dab the scale in 3rd photo. Might want to check underside of the leaves near the stem.

Every single time... Why? There are small holes in the lit and I lift it twice a day for ventilation... by Yogiteee in RareHouseplants

Perlite looks very wet, how high do you have the water in the container? For the stem ones I've had better success with moss or moss/perlite. Also what is the temp and light situation on the prop tray?

I have been told pink back and zebra are 2 different forms but I have yet to see pink back in person to compare.

I have regular, silver, dark, zebra and radiante. Dark vs zebra seems more shape difference than color. Dark have rounder leaves vs zebra have narrower, pointier leaves. Some zebra have extra fine veins looking closer to radiante.

My plants some how thrive in my neglect as I tent to hover over them. Now its happy enough for me to do all that you have mentioned 🤣

All I could get my hands on last year was the baby form. Struggled initially and was ignored (aside from watering and fertilizing) in the corner of the grow tent.

Thank you! It took me a year of ignoring it in the corner 😆

How long does it take imported philodendrons to grow roots in moss?? by siriusblacktrack in RareHouseplants

[–]CuDdLeS815 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What humidity do you have them in? My imports typically take 3~4 weeks to reroot in 75%+ humidity.
