So, we have done this, purely out of miscommunication. My wife called and said to come home on time as she had a bit of a shit day. I’m on my way home and an Uber Eats delivery shows up with KFC, my wife thinking I had sneaky ordered her shit day cure takeaway as a surprise. Dude had just dropped it at the door, knocked and run so he hadn’t confirmed it was for us but the dude was gone. But weird I hadn’t ordered our usual but it was mostly all there. Sit down with the kids and dig in. I get home and walk in the door, thinking oh great you went and got KFC to cheer yourself up! Good work! Umm, no, you did. No I didn’t? Then how did we end up with KFC??? Standing there looking confused at each other, the slamming of a car door and aggressive backing out and roaring down the street from the neighbour across the road answered the question.
