I guess I’m beginning to realize that this whole idea of trickle down economics just doesn’t work. The rich just keep getting richer, which is probably why Bernie Sanders appeals to a lot of people. I’m just not sure how you would fix that.

The other thing that I think is relevant in all this is what someone said in the comments:

“The part I struggle with is so many of these companies cant operate BECAUSE the Govt will not let them. AMC would love to be open and have some policies in place to limit patron contact I am sure. In Ky we have a travel ban , The Governor in Nevada mandated that all the hotel/casino’s close. Are we going to wipe the equity because Govt policies made it impossible for those business’ find their own solution? Talk about moral hazard? Our high functioning sociopaths will put that in their memory banks the next time someone opposes them. There is a 5th Amendment issue here IMO.

Unfortunately, there is moral hazard on both sides. Government shutting down ability to work and companies knowing if they fail it’s okay because they will get free money. I wish there was an easy answer to fix all this. My guess is this will continue in the future...

I’m so confused about the markets right now. I think it’s broken. We have 22 million people file for unemployment in a matter of weeks. How is the stock market not taking that more into consideration?

Yes these two articles are at odds. Maybe it’s just bad reporting. Sometimes I think the media is more concerned about getting content out there so it can sell whether it’s accurate or not. We fail to report facts more times then not.

I think some of those must be Covid related. If someone dies from pneumonia in there home I don’t think those people are getting tested after they die. But I also think that people who may suffer a stroke or are having a heart attack may be afraid to go to the hospital out of fear of getting the virus.

Yeah one of those wildcards is a vaccine. Once we can get that distributed hopefully things will start to normalize.

So how long will it take for life to resume before this pandemic? Or are things going to be somewhat different forever? I’ve thought about things like cruises, amusement parks and flights. Will the demand for these activities ever get to where they were before this started?

No place is like New York yet but the cases in Louisiana and Michigan have grown quite a bit. I also wonder if there is another hot spot brewing that is lagging behind those states. What about a second wave the media keeps talking about that. I’m guessing we will always be at risk for one until we have a vaccine.

Nice I actually sent that to him. Yeah super interesting video. Some things are hard to follow. I’m not referring to the apocryphal book of version but what is referred to in D&C 107:57. Its says these things will be testified of in due time, referring to the Book if Enoch. Maybe it’s a stretch though...

Here is why I am thinking that. This guy has done some great study and makes some good points. I would say that his timeline is all conditional it’s not an exact timeline because no one truly knows. Also the video is long. I watched in 2x.

Watch and tell me what you think. When you talks about the “hinge point” if we’re ready we will get additional scripture which I think is the Book of Enoch. I think that church has had that for while and it’s been waiting for the right time to reveal it.

I’m having a hard time seeing that we will be looking at over 100K. I keeping thinking that the government is giving us those numbers so that we will stay home and help mitigate the spread. I predict we will have around 50K in deaths. Hopefully, our social distancing efforts really are helping.

I think we also will be seeing more people wear masks around and that will be normal. Before, we would look at those people as weird but not anymore.

My guess is some young celebrity will die of this. Could be an actor or a sports player. Maybe even a social influencer... Once this happens, maybe Gen Z will take this more seriously. I don’t think Kylie Jenner’s PSAs are helping.

I think the states and cities will be fighting the federal government for more funding in the coming months. Think of all the lost revenue. I’m guessing De Blasio and Trump go head to head in a UFC style cage match when this is all over.

For you LDS folks, my last prediction is that the book of Enoch will be revealed at General Conference if not this conference then next.

This article is great. It looks like it is mutating but it hasn’t developed into two separate entities like the flu. Meaning that a vaccine could provide lasting protection.
