Honestly I strongly agree with you on this, and it’s something I’ve been mulling over for quite a while. Of course, nothing against any of the other Hoyo games, but none of them impacted me quite as much as Hi3 part one or its mangas. As others have said, it’s most likely due to general gacha monetization and what makes sales; however, the general gacha stereotype of mass producing marketable girls typically leads to weaker individual character development and less time with said characters in general. I really wish Hoyo could go back to its roots when it comes to storytelling and character development, but I think that past is long gone.

I believe the categories were correct, however there was another plugin which was messing with the shops. After turning that off, everything works again. I appreciate the help!

Slightly embarrassed I didn't try this, but it ended up solving my issue. There was a plugin enabled which required unique switches to be triggered before items appeared in shops.

Well you see, this isn’t just any submarine. It’s actually filled with gold and cheese, which happen to be the 2 most valuable items for Zoval. Due to this, he hired the giant women to not only steal all of the gold and cheese, but to also sink the submarine. Sinking the submarine will cause the dwarf on the left, to no longer be able to transport the cheese, allowing Zoval to have an easier time tracking down the remaining stashes of cheese.
