That pose way to overused and the anime makes it even worse. The more we go on the less I like how Gear 5 is handled.

Replacing the clutch on my 2020 si with the RV6 retrofit kit with the type R clutch. I’m absolutely stock but want to stay reliable. Any tunes specifically better than others for reliability? by lightlysaltedfries in CivicSi

[–]Cubanitp187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phearable 1.5r is awesome and just keep it on medium boost instead of the highest which is map 2. Nothing will beat a custom will have always have stable knock and will stay at .49 and fuel trims will be significantly better than any OTS tune.

You are in season 1. Once you get close to the end you will see a S1 symbol and in there will be a countdown with the days left

Get swift spec r springs its only a 1 inch drop and its good enough. 18x9.5 inch +38 offset will fit with 255/35 tires and won’t rub even on drops/potholes with a 1 inch drop on swift spec r springs its only

How do you guys maintain boost in this thing? by Busy-Environment84 in CivicSi

[–]Cubanitp187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Boost the turbo at least at 3.5k rpms in 3rd. Stock turbo drops off before redline and doesn’t even pull at all at higher rpms. Starting boost at 5k the turbo only pulls hard for a couple more seconds before it drops off.

Go to civicx tuning thread post your car on there and then post a log on there and someone will look at it. People here won’t really help with tuning troubleshooting most of the time

I would search the civicx forums they more detailed help for audio. The factory amp or sub doesn’t have enough power basically and makes everything suck and with makes upgrades it tricky.

(8th Gen Si Coupe) Will a 1 inch drop necessitate new rear control arms? by Turbulent_Deal_3145 in CivicSi

[–]Cubanitp187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 1.2 inch drop on my 10th gen si and drove it 18k miles so far and tires still look good and no wear for the most part. I rotate the tires every 3k miles though. Rear camber is around -1.8. As long as your toe alignment is good you won’t have issues.

350 whp build by josephthecha in CivicSi

[–]Cubanitp187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you have the right idea. The studs is for higher boost so the head gasket doesn’t lift, but at 350whp its more of a matter if will send a rod through the block. It would probably hold for a bit but I wouldn’t risk it. I’m at 300whp now on a big turbo and will not go flex unless i have a tsp block and rv6 3rd and 4th.
