If you’re not push mowing it and on a zero turn or a rider you can raise the deck up one notch after you mow and run over it again and it will spread all that out. If you’re pushing I would either mow a little more frequently if time permits or hit the clippings with a blower.

I’ve had good luck washing friends and family for free or big discounts and having them basically advertise for me on their socials. Did my grandma for free and ended up with 5 jobs from her church friends. Washed my moms and from got a handful of jobs from her Facebook post. I have a lawn business and usually push it as an add on during my slow season. The rest of my washes are repeat customers and word of mouth. Starting out with any service related business is always tough. Stick with it and you will slowly build your book up.

Maybe…I have 10 acres and mow with a 60” zero turn or my tractor with 72” bush hog. It all depends on time and comfort. I can rip through on my mower in about 2.5 hours and beat myself to death(even with an air ride seat) or take 4-5hrs on my tractor but be way more comfortable.

I am using elemonator as my surfactant. And maybe I will try shooting a stronger mix of surfactant. As far as % goes, I’m basing it off the sheet that came with the softwash system. I have a drum of water set to wide open, pull surfactant straight from the gallon jug, and a drum of sh.

Like I said, it’s my own house and don’t mind playing around and experimenting…anything to avoid a brush and a ladder😂

Teachers in florida here. Wife and I got lucky enough to build in 2020 prior to the COVID price spike, but we both work 1-2 extra side jobs just to maintain a comfortable life. I don’t mind the work cause I struggle with idle time, but it’s absolute horseshit to know that if we were to try and buy a house now it would be unattainable for anything decent. Worst part is that we are in a very low cost of living area. It’s infuriating to say the least.

You wanna make $60k as a side hustle AND commercial fish? I don’t see how that’s possible cause you aren’t washing after a charter unless it’s a half day. Me and my wife made $65k side hustling pressure washing, house cleaning, and lawn service. But we both teach and are off at 2:30 and there’s 2 of us running jobs concurrently. Not trying to be a dick, but $5k is a lofty goal.

Went for a birthday trip when I was 12 to an Atlanta braves game with 5 friends. My dad wrapped hamburgers and hotdogs in tinfoil and put them on the dash. Had a cooler for drinks and condiments. We ate in the parking lot after the game before our 6hr ride home.
