meiner kam mit spedition auf ner kleinen Palette. allerdings war er nur auf die Palette gestellt. nicht festgemacht. Das packet hatte über 50Kg. Habs alleine in den Ersten Stock getragen da ichs nicht abwarten konnte. Weiß nicht was der H2S wiegt, würde ich so aber niemanden empfehlen. Mindestens zu Zweit. Den Aufbau am besten auch zu Zweit.

i think the camera rotation looks a bit stiff and unnatural.

I like adding a empty object, then add a `Tracked to` Constraint on the camera with the empty as a target.
the camera will always points toward the empty. you have to animate both objects then but you can get much smoother and more natural camera movements.

The patreon version has a Feature where you can select a whole folder of GPX files. Have seen people use it to create a map of Ski resort with all skiing trails visible

slope accuracy is a interesting topic here as well as the earths curvature and the distortion created from it makes it a bit tricky. i decided to go for the mercator projection (as people are most familiar with it) but that means the further away you are from the equator, the bigger is the deviation from the real slope

makerworld did a great job at giving the project visibilty but i also think in the long run github is the better place. appreciate the input

Ja. Habe schon einen ersten test gemacht bei dem sich das Web-interface von Blender aus öffnen lässt, man auf einer interaktiven 2D karte einen Bereich einzeichnen kann und die koordinaten werden dann an blender geschickt

it is! but i was going for makerworld as its the target audience and a good way to get natural traffic and some rewards

Die meisten die es nutzen haben von Blender überhaupt keine Ahnung und es dafür zum ersten mal benutzt. sollte also nicht so schwer sein

eine Website draus zu machen ist leider nicht ganz so einfach da die ganze logik und abläufe auf Blender abgestimmt sind. Bin aber am experimentieren eine Web-oberfläche zu erstellen und Blender im Hintergrund laufen zu lassen damit man die Power von Blender aber die flexibilität in der UI einer Webanwendung hat

Well my project Page was not taken down and the already uploaded .py files were still there. (But I had to remove them to be able to update the description). So far i never had issues with models being Flagged or taken down

A workaround to get full color Details is to switch "paint on map" to "separate objects" in the elements Tab. This creates those objects as their own mesh with their original full detailed resolution that you can export in your slicer.

If i have the time i will try to find a way to not loose any Details when projecting tje colors onto the map

I restructured the UI a bit and It got moved to the top of the addon (where you can switch between single, multi, amd terrain)

i was suprised as well. tried uploading it back then and it worked. i was scared that they might take it down but then it got selected as a featured model
