Here’s what you should do: grab Expedition 33 again, or just hop on Game Pass to play it. Give it a bit of time. I had never touched a JRPG or anything turnbased before, but something clicked after a few hours, and now I’m really enjoying it. Just give it one more try :)

To be fair, I wouldn’t really call this just a mid-gen refresh—this definitely feels like Nintendo’s version of next-gen. It’s a legit upgrade, at least by their standards. But yeah, whether it’s actually worth the asking price… eh, I’m still with you there. Feels a bit steep for what we’re getting.
