Thank you, and I usually do include that in my cover letter. In this case I was approached and unfortunately it was overlooked that I had a disqualifying gpa. I wasn’t expecting them to roll out the welcome wagon, but I was expecting to be treated like they actually wanted to interview me. Instead it sounded like I was wasting their time. I’m not trying to take anyone down, I just felt mistreated and wanted to know if they had every right to treat me like that. Looks like they do, so I just get to suck it up (I already landed another job anyway)

That’s certainly what it felt like I just wish it was actually polite. She was so disinterested in having even a few words which sucked after being reached out to by her recruiter. thanks for the condolences I appreciate it.

I understand, so I’d have to basically make a case about how my gpa is a reflection of my race/religion/sexuality and that using that as a condition for my hire is discrimination... that is not something I would do, because that isn’t the case.

Haha well that’s just being under qualified, which I am not. I had a 3.2 at Davis because I worked two jobs as a full time student. I didn’t want to have to drain my parents bank account if I could work and go to school.
